About this villa rental
Villa has this year (2024) had a complete refit and remodel of the bedrooms/ensuite bathrooms and is fully compliant with the new rental licence requirements, fire alarms in each room, fire extinguishers, fire blanket, fire escape signs and plans for each floor.
New larger ensuite bathrooms with rain showers and all new fixtures and fittings. The bedrooms are now located on individual floors, more space and have all new furnishings, walk in wardrobes and private balcony's with seating with the most amazing views.
The villa located in Kalkan in a quiet and elevated position offering fabulous views across the Mediterranean Coastline and surrounding Taurus Mountains. The villa is ideally situated within easy reach of the regions many historical sites and areas of natural beauty as well as Kalkan's wonderful array of quality restaurants, 15 to 20 minute walk or a few minutes drive or taxi ride away. The villa also benefits from a group of local shops, Bim/Kanga super market, restaurant, patisserie and sunday market all within a 5 minute walk. The villa can accommodate up to 4 guests plus a baby cot and is stylishly furnished for your comfort and enjoyment.
The ground floor comprises of an open plan living and dining area with fully fitted and equipped kitchen with breakfast bar seating area and dining table. The lounge area has a smart TV (disney plus, YouTube etc), bluetooth speaker, water cooler with air-conditioning and ceiling fan. On the same level you will find a downstairs toilet and outside utility room with washing machine facility.
On the 1st floor there is a large family bedroom (2 single beds or 1 large king bed) and sofa area. There room has a walk in wardrobe and ensuite shower room with rain shower, bidet style toilets, mirror and closet. The larger of both bedrooms which also has a private balcony area with seating wuth amazing views overlooking Kalkan town, bay and islands.
On the second floor you will find the second bedroom, double bed again with walk in wardrobe and ensuite shower room with rain shower, bidet style toilets, mirror and closet. thus room also has a lovely private balcony with 2 outside sofas. with amazing views of Kalkan town, bay and Islands.
Outside is the Poolside area with 4 sunbeds and 2 umbrella's., good sized pool 4.35metres by 7 metres and 135 -145cm deep. There is a lovely established garden with sweet smelling jasmine and Melissa plants to help keep the mosquito away. There is an raised outside covered garden room, fully enclosed with glass where the doors slide back to open fully. Inside there is a large dining table, chairs, sofa area with bbq and prep area. For those coming at the beginning and end of season you can also enjoy the use of our log burning fire for those cooler evenings.
If you have young children (baby) and require a travel cot, baby chair, booster chair or buggy we can happily provide those for you at no extra charge. We live locally so we are always at hand to help you enjoy your holiday time in beautiful Kalkan.

Absolutely beautiful villa. The garden room is an added bonus and so lovely. The pool was beautifully maintained and cleaned every morning. Communication with Mandy the owner was super. Mandy made contact prior to arrival, giving us advice for arrival including accurate directions. She was on the other end of the phone for anything we needed during our stay. The villa is beautiful and very well furnished. Their hospitality is very thoughtful. 5* wholly recommend!

Just returned from the most amazing holiday in Kalkan. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Mandy was with organising the transfer, ensuring there was a welcome package which far exceeded anything we’ve had before, to booking restaurants and recommending places to go and taxi numbers! There is a supermarket just a couple of minutes up the hill that will cater for most things during your stay.
The villa itself is spotless and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Ground floor is open plan living, leading out to a wonderful pool area and glass building with table tennis, comfy sofas and dining area for lunches. Upstairs to the twin/double room with en-suite, seating area and covered balcony, then up one more floor to another double room with en-suite and balcony. All rooms have air-conditioning and are comfortable to sleep in.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone, the views are spectacular and it’s only a 15 min walk down the hill into town or a 5 min taxi ride. Mandy is always on hand if needed and really made our holiday run like clockwork. I’m desperate to come back again to this lovely town and even better villa.

When I found Villa One I could only hope it was as great as it sounded. We arrived at night, met by Mandy who was so warm and welcoming. She gave us a tour and we were really impressed. However, It wasn’t until the following morning that we were able to fully appreciate the villa and it’s spectacular surroundings! The views were incredible. Sea views one way, mountain views the other, and the pool area is stunning. There are a variety of areas from which to take in the views and they are all fantastic. Kalkan is wonderful and I would love to return. Mandy was on hand to provide practical information, impart local knowledge and was so helpful and kind. It’s a real gem of a villa and is great for families. I would 100% recommend!

Right from booking the owner (Mandy) was in touch regularly giving hints and tips which was really useful as we'd not been to Turkey before. She greeted us warmly in person which was great as we arrived at about 2am and had stocked up on all things we'd need for first day. From there she was accessible and was a huge help offering advice on where to go and what to see.The Villa itself is aptly named because it really is number One in every sense, clean, tidy, a great size inside and out, the pool is wonderful and it's hardly overlooked at all. The view is stunning both ways with mountains one way and the beautiful Kalkan bay the other. Kalkan is quite quiet at time of visit due to the local issues which were more than a year ago. It being quiet suited us perfectly. Local food is great and there's lots of choice of bar and restuarant.Turkey is a great place to visit and Villa One and the amazing Mandy are the perfect hosts for your Holiday. Now stop reading and just book you'll not regret it!!!
