Beautifully maintained House set in a central location on Korcula Island.

We absolutely loved the location. Was a great central location to all the other smaller towns and also to the old Korcula town was approximately a 10 minute walk. The pool was amazing very clean and maintained. Apartment was very clean. We were there as a large family which was three adults and two children. Hosts were very friendly and accommodated an early check-in as we had small children. We will be recommending to all our family and friends in Australia.

Perfect!

Everything was just perfect: we had a very warm welcome from our host Ivana and she looked after us very well throughout our stay. The apartment was lovely, spacious and comfortable, and the outdoor space, with the barbecue area and the pool area surrounded in olive trees, was superb. The breakfast was delicious, with eggs from the hosts' own hens as well as fruits from their garden. Sunny House is a perfect base from which to explore the East of Korcula island, with a lovely walk / very short bus ride into Korcula Old Town, and a short bus ride to Lumbarda. Supermarket and cafes are 5 mins walk away. We feel absolutely relaxed and refreshed following our stay, and would give the place 20/10 if we could!

Great stay in a comfortable place with lovely people.

Sunny House was comfortable and spacious. The weather was not kind so we couldn’t enjoy the pool and terrace but with better weather, they would have been great. Marko and Ivana were excellent hosts, providing a delicious breakfast, a transfer from and to the property and went above and beyond to help us when our catamaran back to Dubrovnik was cancelled due to poor weather.

Given the weather, it was hard to dry laundry - so the washing machine was of limited use. The property is about 25 minutes walk from the Old Town and 10+ minutes to the nearest beach - we knew this when booking and wasn’t a problem but good to be aware

Great house with pool and breakfast for 4 people.

Every part of our stay was wonderful! The house is great for a small family or 2 couples. All the rooms and the outdoor areas are thoughtfully organized and equipped. We opted to pay a bit extra for breakfast and were treated to a choice from a variety of tasty homemade menus.

Perfect base to explore Korcula

The property is simply furnished but has everything that you need. Beach/Swimming towels were provided and there were nice touches like washing liquid for the washing machine & toilet rolls supplied. Also, very effective a/c. We could access Netflix, Amazon Prime & You Tube, which was great for nights we chose to stay in. Outside there is a lovely pool area which was great to relax around and the outside breakfast area was also very nice. We chose to have breakfasts included & there were a variety of choices, all of which were delicious. Ivana & Marko were great hosts, very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our stay.

Return to Korcula

Sunny House was everything we needed for our holiday both inside and out. The outdoor BBQ was just fantastic and used every day! The extra clean towels during the stay was a nice touch. Having been to Korcula before and stayed in a hotel, this was much better as we were far enough way from it being full of tourists but near enough to walk into the Old Town.

Nothing about the house but take bug spray for outside for the evenings!

Great and I’d come again without hesitation.

Very well equipped with extra thoughtful features such as mosquito plugs, maps, recommendations etc from Marko. Also great location with a relaxing garden.

First bathroom very limited, no hot water for sink, but that’s only a small issue as main bathroom fine.

Charming stay

Good location for us, we went a couple times to Korcula old town by foot, we reached it in 20-25 minutes. A car parking spot is available in the yard. The apartment was very clean, kitchen was fully equipped, spacious terrace with beautiful garden views. In our booking breakfast was included, we could choose between different menu options every morning, quite nice variety of food and everything fresh.

Peaceful place for full relax

The host is very friendly and supportive. Easy to get in touch by phone and whatsapp. We got the change of our linen in the middle of stay even though we didn't ask for it. And we got gifts for goodbye, that was super nice! There are 2 apartments and the host's home in the same building but they are totally separated and the entrances are on different sides of the house. So, we almost never saw any other person apart from us, we felt very comfortable and isolated. It's a peaceful place with a nice terrace and a big garden. And we loved the pool!

It's hard to find something. Perhaps the air conditioning was not perfect, as it was quite hot in the bedroom (the air conditioner was located in another room). The wifi was a bit unstable in the evenings.

Perfect change in accommodation to stay at rather than small apartments and small hotels.

Perfect place to stay for 3 or 4 nights just outside of Korcula, we have been traveling for 4 weeks and having a whole home with a pool was great to regroup and cook at home rather than eating out every night. . they have everything in the place and so much room, we hired a car also for $80/day which made the place even better to get around. Marko was amazing and was there anytime we needed to assist. highly recommend.

Peace and quiet in the green outskirts of Korcula town

Excellent location, just outside Korcula old town, very quiet and still close to everything. Thumbs up for the breakfast! The hostess did a fantastic job in making us feel at home. The pool area is also very nice, we enjoyed it a lot!

Good location, quiet but easy walk to restaurants and bars in the old town. Host so helpful, responsive and assisted in taxi booking and advice in relation to onward travel. Thoughtfully left juice and water for our arrival.

A specious and well furnished apartment with a nice pool area to relax.

The apartment was very spacious, clean and furnished to a really high standard. It also had two bathrooms which was very convenient. The pool area was also good. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and also paid for our taxi from the port which was a nice touch. There is a cafe bar snd a supermarket within a 5 minute walk which is always helpful. The old town is a 15 minute walk away.

Stay at Sunny House

We had a 9 day stay at sunny house which couldn’t have been better! Marko was an amazing host and went out of his way to make things perfect for us. The apartment was very clean and the pool area was beautiful with amazing views. The location was perfect, a short walk into the old town but far enough away to feel nice and relaxed. Would highly recommend and we will be back! Thanks again Marko!

A beautiful, peaceful, authentic stay in Korcula. Would return :)

The host kindly picked us up from the port and showed us the local areas and shortcut to walk. Plus left recommendations :)

The shower head and holder needs replacing but otherwise all was well :)

A wonderful, private retreat

It was a beautiful, private property. The pool was great. The bbq was great. A shop and butcher close by. Great restaurant in walking distance. The host was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Superb

The host was extraordinary made our stay very delightful and even dropped us off after check out on a Sunday. The apartment was clean and comfortable and we had a pool to ourselves. Highly recommend

Comfortable but not worth the price.

The swimming pool area and the outside oven area. Those were fantastic. Also, the apartment was big enough to accommodate a family of 5. The location was also good especially the cafe 100 meters up the road where we had coffee each morning with locals. It was also close to a small market where we could get fresh bread in the morning.

The host would do well to invest in repairs to the inside of the apartment. Both showers leaked so bad the floors were full of water after one shower. My husband ended up dredging all the hair out of the drain in one bathroom. One of the air conditioning units did not work, which in summer time is just not doable. Also, there were very few knives and forks, a situation that we've never come across before. There were coffee cups but no water glasses. Small things like this are the difference between a five stars and 2 or 3.

A perfect place for relaxing after a long day of exploring the island

The house is located on the main road towards Lumbarda but also close to Korčula and ferry port. It is in a quiet neighbourhood and a market is a few minutes away. We really loved the swimming pool, for after-breakfast, after-beach or a night swim. We enjoyed all the outside facilities, and inside there is a large comfy living room and a kitchen with a lot of space. Additional toilet/shower included, which helps if there are 4 people using the place. Marko was a great host, really helpful and with a lot of knowledge and information about where to buy perfect island-made wines.
