The property and grounds at Le Filigare are exceptional. From the amazing views of the olive trees and vineyards, a picture can’t express how amazing it is. Our apartment was comfortable and plenty of space for four adults. The staff were very friendly, with two adorable dogs roaming the property. It is extremely quiet and peaceful making for a great remote getaway or a perfect place to come back to after a day of exploring.

Dream come true

We love it here. The place is magical and one of the most beautiful in Tuscany. We are planning to return many more times. The staff is exceptional. As we were with kids living in the winery gave us opportunity to have a wine tasting together with kids, they even made special meals for them. We loved the wine and ordered bottles back home. Recommended it to literally everyone.

Nice stay in a real winery

The staff was very nice and helpful, we felt warmly welcomed. The breakfast was good, cappuccino and cafe latte was exceptional good. The location is perfect, the view from the winery is amazing! Wine tasting tour was very good, we liked it a lot. Swimming pool was excellent.

Apartments widely spread throughout the winery, connecting roads are unpaved roads surfaced with gravel, it is not ideal for driving, you still can walk though. The apartment we stayed was traditional type, it was clean but if you like the modern house/apartment you would have a bit strange feeling staying there. Roof window in one bathroom was open when we checked in, so some bugs fell down to the bathtub, we cleaned it out quickly before my kids seen it otherwise it could be a "nice" surprice for them.

The only thing that I could rate with less than a 10 was the breakfast but its not a big deal the views that it offers and the state of the property makes you forget it also my villa had a fully equipped kitchen

Expectations exceeded!

A simply amazing location on a hilltop with spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside! This place exceeded our expectations, and was great value for money. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a well-maintained garden around the terrace. Three different air conditioning units made it easy to adjust the temperature without having it blow cold air into our faces during the night.

Although we enjoyed it very much, the winery tour and tasting was a bit expensive. On the other hand, most winery tours and tastings in Tuscany are quite expensive, so this is a very minor complaint in an otherwise fantastic experience.

Great discovery

The place is beautiful, the owner was very nice and accommodated us for a late check-in. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious, and they even had a fairly good variety of gluten-free products. An excellent place to relax, go for walks, and admire the beautiful landscape.

Delightful and comfortable every step of the way

The entire property and surroundings are spectacular, right out of a dream. Typical vintage Tuscan sights, but in perfect shape. I highly recommend the wine tasting also, the wines are excellent and the presenter is very dedicated and profesional, but also a nice Person

Fabulous stay in a countryside winery

The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. We took a pasta making class from Sara that was wonderful. The breakfast had almost all the items you would want. "Johnny" was especially friendly and helpful. The location is a good hub for exploring Tuscany by car with parking readily available. The apartment had a complete kitchen and there is a local market nearby. The estate is much more beautiful than the pictures show.

Wonderful!!

The views are dreamy!! Typical Tuscan scenery in a secluded winery in Chianti - I mean come on!! Enough said! Simply stunning location on a hilltop complete with vineyards, olive trees, a pool, flowers and lovely stone cottages. Even dogs and a pony! Heaven on earth. Great breakfast. Great apartment for 3 of us - very roomy and comfortable. Nice staff- helped us plan our days. What a memorable stay!! Wish we could have stayed a whole week- we had just 2 nights but wow was it worth it!! So secluded yet just a short drive to dinner in the closest village 5 min away- delicious and adorable! La Toppa. And there’s a pizzeria in the piazza also but we didn’t try it - looked great though. THANK YOU Le Filigare- we hope to come back again someday and we will definitely be spreading your praise to anyone we know heading to Tuscany!!!!

Exceptional

My family and I had a wonderful experience at Le Filigare. From the breathtaking location, to the charm and the privacy of our apartment, all topped off with a warm welcome from Claudia, we could not have asked for a better start to our Italian vacation. The pool is awesome as well, and we much enjoyed it after long days spent visiting Florence, Pisa, Lucca and the Tuscan villages. A quick dip and a glass of Chianti at sunset while enjoying stunning views is all you need to recharge for the next day. Thank you Claudia, Alessandro and the Le Filigare staff for providing us with such a great stay. We hope to come back one day, and enjoy your beautiful estate for even a longer time.

We tried to book a wine tasting before arrival (due to having many other scheduled activities), but communicatiion around that topic was not that great or clear. We ended up not having a wine tasting at all, as we could not make it at the date/time it was proposed to us. I would love to see more flexibility when it comes to guests staying at the estate.No major issue, we still ended up buying 2 bottles of wine (and I am sure we will enjoy it), but the tasting experience is unmatched 😊.

Apartments are a bit old and basic. Bed was very uncomfortable and the shower was very small. A little upgrade of the amenities would make this place really perfect.

Exceptional

The location is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous 😍. The apartment we stayed had that Italian feeling which we loved it. Beds were very very comfortable and the kitchen had some pots , pans and utensils which came very helpful, especially when you're travelling with hungry kids . We won't off season so no many people around and the pool was closed which is understandable.

The road to get there is a bit tricky but a skilled driver shouldn't have any problems.

Gorgeous location, great views, nice house with good confort, poor communication with their tourists

The location is gorgeous, the views are magic, the old house is very nice, spatious rooms, well equipped kitchen.

It would have been nice to have the possibility to take lunch or dinner at the location. It's a 15-20 min driving distance to the closest restaurant, you absolutly need a car to get there. We wanted to taste some local wine and visit wine cellar of Filigare but they said we should make a reservation a few days before, it's not possible in the same day. That was a little bit disappointing considering we ware visiting and tasting in other Tuscany winerys around with no reservation before. There is no cleaning in the rooms during your stay (only with extra charge of 80 euros if you want), you need to deal with the garbage yourself and there was only one garbage bag available there.

Very dirty, water baths leak out, toilet and bidet water do not go down. Kitchen, refrigerator, dirty dishes. The beds are dusty with flies and dead mosquitoes.

The property is beautifully located overlooking the hills of Chianti wine region. The path to get to the property takes about 10 minutes and is a windy road up. The apartment was large for 4 people. And equipped with a full kitchen etc.

The property says it is dog friendly. Unfortunately the two dogs of the owners are rather territorial and as such it was difficult to move throughout the property with our two puppy dogs and felt tense for the time being there. As such we would not advocate brining dogs here.

Dit is niet normaal

Wat een geweldige plek! Le Filigare ligt hoog in de Toscaanse heuvels en het uitzicht is werkelijk adembenemend – precies het idyllische plaatje dat je verwacht bij Toscane. Het is mooier dan de vakantiefolder. Het zwembad is prachtig gelegen en we hebben er uren genoten. Het ontbijt was uitgebreider dan je op basis van de reviews hieronder zou verwachten, met vers fruit, eieren, brood, croissantjes, taarten en iedere ochtend een cappuccino of latte macchiato die persoonlijk werd ingeschonken. Helemaal niets karigs aan! Het appartement was ruimer dan verwacht, met twee slaapkamers en alles wat je nodig hebt. Wij hadden het appartement Acero, vlak naast de ontbijtzaal. We deden ook de eenvoudige wijnproeverij van Le Filigare. Dat was een feest: goede sfeer, uitstekende wijnen en leuk contact met andere gasten. We hebben er leuk app-contact met een Australisch stel aan overgehouden en veel lol gehad. De prijs-kwaliteit van onze verblijf van 8 nachten in augustus 2025, vonden wij meer dan netjes. Tips: - Bezoek zeker de wijnproeverij op het terrein – absolute aanrader. - Vanuit Le Filigare ben je binnen korte tijd in Florence, Siena en San Gimignano. - In het dorpje San Donato vind je een paar uitstekende restaurants.

Dan hebben we het over onbelangrijke kleinigheden: in ons appartement was de wc-bril scheef en er hing een luchtje in de douche. En zoals anderen al opmerkten. Neem zelf campingstoel en/of hangmat mee om buiten bij je appartement comfortabel te zitten.
