Chalet Miravidi, Montchavin-La Plagne, Jacuzzi & Sauna

L'emplacement est fabuleux : la maison donne sur la piste ! Le jacuzzi et le sauna sont bienvenus, quelques rangements pertinents permettent de poser skis et chaussures directement au bon endroit. Les propriétaires ont été agréables, réactifs et disponibles.

C'est un peu plus petit et plus sombre que sur les photos : l'aspect sous-sol aménagé rend la vue sur le Mont-Blanc anecdotique. Le carrelage est froid, prévoir double paire de chaussettes pour ceux qui aiment se balader pieds nus.

Super établissement . avec la vue magnifique conforme aux photos. tout etait propre.

86 marches à monter ce qui n'etait pas indiqué de plus il y a 10 marches entre la terrasse et l'appartement heureusement qu'il faisait beau car logement sombre et un peu petit alors que nous etions 2

The chalet is beautifully decorated and cosy. The living room is large with a huge couch that everyone can fit on. The rooms were a good size and perfect for a large family ski holiday sleeping 8 comfortably (3 Doubles and a bunk bed) - we had 3 couples and a child. The bunk bed room leads directly into the larger double room/ en-suite so this works like a big family room and worked great for us. The owners are nearby enough to help if needed (and even brought homemade cake one day !) but don’t intrude on your stay. They are well organised in terms of arrival and check in (which was very easy!) The hot tub is beautiful and overlooks the sun setting over Mont Blanc- absolutely stunning after a days skiing. The hot tub is shared with the guests in the other apartment in the chalet, but the reservation system was really easy / fair and this didn’t impact our holiday at all. There was great snow on the mountains, but not enough snow (in February… so think this may be a regular thing) to ski out the back garden, but the chalet is literally on the edge of the blue slope down to the first lift that gives you access to the entire Paradiski area… the walk on the road down to the edge of the slope if the garden path doesn’t have enough cover is maybe 2 minutes so this isn’t a problem.

The only *small* draw backs are how high up and away you are in relation to the lovely little alpine town centre of montchavin. Maps make it look close but the roads are windy and the hill is steep! It’s just a tad too far (though still very possible) to walk back home on a night (and all uphill) but overall I think the ease to get to the slopes and the lovely chalet and hot tub make up for this! There are also shuttle busses that run into the evening that can get you closer to home if you are dead keen to be out in the town on a night. The other is that the chalet is only reachable by (quite a few) steps from the road … so unloading your bags and food etc at the start and repacking at the end was a bit of a mission! And wouldn’t really be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Nous avons apprécié l’emplacement et la vue depuis le logement.

Nous n’avons pas apprécié plusieurs choses : - Nous avons réservé et payé un logement décrit comme ayant 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain, alors qu’à notre arrivée, l’accès à deux des chambres et une salle de bain (principale) était fermé (une étiquette était apposée sur les portes de ces pièces indiquant que ces dernières n’étaient pas accessibles pour ce séjour) - La propreté des équipements est à revoir, notamment les ustensiles de cuisine que nous avons dû frotter dès notre arrivée afin de les avoir propres. - La propreté du lieu dans son ensemble était convenable, à noter toutefois qu’il aurait mérité un passage d aspirateur avant notre arrivée (morceaux de gâteau sec retrouvés par terre vers le canapé) - S’agissant du jacuzzi, le niveau d’eau à disposition était inférieur à celui des buses de jet
