Villa Maria, Lakefront Art Villa on Lake Maggiore

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, es ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Villa liegt direkt am Strand, was einen wunderschönen Ausblick bietet.

Traumhafte Lage, sehr geschmackvolle Ausstattung, jeder Zentimeter wurde super geplant und effektiv genutzt. Betten fantastisch und ausreichend Ablagemöglichkeiten und Schränke. Balkon zum See für traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge. Am Morgen hat man den See fast für sich allein. Schwimmen im klaren Wasser herrlich. Badeschuhe empfohlen. Geparkt haben wir auf dem kostenfreien Parkplatz oberhalb des Hauses, 5 Minuten Fußweg. Es gibt aber auch eine Ladestation am kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz neben dem Haus. Sehr angenehmer Kontakt mit dem Vermieter und Kommunikation per WhatsApp kein Problem. Viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, Seilbahn in Laveno, 15 Minuten Fußweg zum Kloster Santa Caterina del Sasso. Von dort fährt die Fähre nach Stresa. 5 Tage waren fast zu kurz, wir kommen wieder.

Very pleasant garden. The apartment is nice but only for two persons, it’s the open space, all in one; kitchen, bedroom, living room. With more guests, there is complete lack of intimacy.

We had a problem with the collection of the keys, because the hosts require you to pick up the keys in person until 8 pm and sign the contract (first time such a situation for me). Quite noisy place, the apartment is located on the road leading to the beach, there is constant traffic including a lot of young people (and not only) on motorcycles. Nearby is a helicopter factory Leonardo and that’s why there is constant traffic of helicopters in the sky. There is no store nearby, you have to go by car to a nearby village. The TV didn’t work, wi-fi only worked for 2 days. The apartment is in a different building than in the photo, the door shown in the photo as facing the beach was not made available to us, we had to walk a piece of the main road to the beach.
