Hostal Elvira

La atención del personal. Muy buena ubicación.

The hotel was situated very close to the old town which was fantastic. We loved the old town with all the charming bars and restaurants. The member of staff who was there when we checked in was very helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and gave us good advice about the blinds and windows and how to get to the old town. The shower was fantastic.

The instructions we had for check in were to go to a restaurant not far from the hostal. However the restaurant was closed for holidays. We had to ring the hostal and ask what we had to do to check in. Fortunately I was able to speak Spanish so I understood that we had to go back to the hostal. There was a buzzer to ring and we were then let in but it wasn't easy to find the hostal as it was contained within an apartment block. We did manage to find it in the end and we were then able to check in. As mentioned, the staff member who did the check in was great but we were very unhappy that we had not been sent a message to explain the check in. With regard to the room, although it was perfectly adequate and good value for money, one of the wall lights was hanging off the wall. Also the flex of the hairdryer was frayed so that the wires were showing through. These things would be easy to put right.

Ahora con el cambio climático..tendrán que poner aire acondicionado en las habitaciones para verano. Aranda es fría en invierno, pero ya no tanto.
