I liked the location, the grounds and gardens. The Accomodation is cosy and comfortable for a short stay. The outdoor space for the Red Hut was a wow for me with the red tulips, freshly cut grass and the beautiful trees. The outdoor bath under the stars is amazing. We really enjoyed the complimentry bread with jams and butter. The craft beers went down well too. Great wifi!
We arrived on a warm sunny day, the hut was quite stuffy and we couldnt get the A/C to work on cooling. We opened the windows to let in the fresh air and realised no insect screens. Once the fresh air came in the temperature was perfect. After a long day of driving, we wanted to just relax and watch a movie, the tv was too old to for me to cast from my phone and the channels didnt work properly. Using the outdoor bath, i had to clean it first and there were hair accessories left behind by a previous guest. Also, some lite bathrobes, bath salts or bubbles and a towel hook would have elevated this experience. I ended up using the body wash for the bubbles and sat my towel on the rocks.

We LOVED our stay at the Red Hut. The bed was super comfy, the fire beautiful, the location convenient and bread and eggs were a lovely touch.
