The room was big enough for two, the bathroom was decent and had a good shower, the kitchen was well equipped and we received coffee in the morning.

The room was not cleaned and we did not revceive any new towels during our 3 night stay. Some of the lights, including the emergency light, didn't work.

We would definitely recommend staying here for anyone who wants to experience true Cretan hospitality and culture. The village is small but has everything you need. We spent our time here playing at the beach and enjoying delicious food at one of the tavernas. Everyone in the village is friendly and greets you with a smile. It was amazing to return to our room at the end of the day and see the moon shining bright above the sea. You can also see a sky full of stars at night - something you won’t see in a big city. Each morning the sun shines right into the room and you can hear the church bells from down the hill. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind. :-) They were very sweet with our son (a wild 1-year-old) and brought us cookies, coffee, water, juice, toys, and gave us some fruit for our drive. They also provided a crib (pack n play with a door on the side that unzips) and our son had fun playing in it. On our last night, one of our friends was having some car trouble and Yorgos came to help us. We stayed here for 5 nights and had everything we needed. Thank you Fotini & Yorgos!!

Appartamento in ottima posizione con bella vista sul mare. Arredamento semplice ma completo di ogni necessità per la vacanza. Gestori molto gentili ad aspettarci al nostro arrivo a notte inoltrata, oltre all'orario comunicato. La signora poi ci ha viziato tutto il soggiorno con assaggi di tipicità locali da lei cucinati.

unica nota negativa, ma per noi poco influente, è che la salita (circa 80mt) per arrivarci è piuttosto ripida.

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.

The lane leading up to the house from the main coast road is extremely steep, so much so that we didn't dare risk taking our hire car up it, so we parked in the main road and took small backpacks up to the accommodation. In our family room, the double bed was absolutely tiny, so much so that I ended up sleeping on the floor. Still, we were only staying a night! The small hamlet was not much to write home about, but we had food at a nearby restaurant which was excellent.
