Great location, friendly host, clean and comfortable.
Some tea and milk would have been good as it was some way to a shop.

The location of the apartment was great…with great views of the coast, green hills and pasture with horses. Bedrooms with bathrooms were cozy and comfortable. The pub next door was great to pop in for a drink and friendly chat with the locals.
The living room couch wasn’t comfortable and we were missing a coffee maker when we arrived. The restaurant brought one by when we asked for it. Also, we didn’t have hot water one of our nights and when we asked at the restaurant they came by and turned it on.

Let’s start with the positive-we chose the location for its proximity to the Ring of Kerry & the beach so it is good from that point of view. Their website is very slick & paints a perfect picture, especially the standard of the adjoining restaurant. This was not only refurbished to a high standard, the food was top-class & staff excellent. We did have issues with- see below - but Brian was promptly receptive & sorted a couple of the issues within the day & generously offered us a free restaurant visit as recompense but…
We had just arrived from a stay at the same price outside Cork where everything was close to perfect, sadly this apartment was the opposite end of the scale. These are our experience but please check with Brian before booking to see if they’ve been addressed: smells strongly of damp. Rust on radiators, fridge, washing machine & bathroom fittings. Stained & uncomfortable sofa. Dirty/stained hearth. Covered fireplace looks bare. Hot tap worn & not working(resolved). Chopping board disgracefully worn out (resolved). Old, worn & badly marked placemats (resolved). No sharp knife for cutting meat or bread (resolved). Loose toilet seat (resolved). Poor/old/cheap cutlery. Commercial ‘Blue Roll’ instead of kitchen towel/paper. One Double bed ridiculously short (less than 6’). Overall a very shabby apartment in stark contrast to the exceptional & newly refurbished attached restaurant.

Location is perfect for our visits to Cromane.
Would be great to have a hairdryer as didn’t take one with me this time.

Location is fabulous for exploring the peninsula - Ring of Kerry, hiking Carrauntoohil - and with easy access to nearby towns without having to stay in town. There is a really nice beach within a very short walk. Beautiful sunrise on the other side, also nearby. Very spacious. Quiet, even though the pub is next door.
Everything worked well enough, and is a great value for the location. Washer was a little wonky, but it ended up getting the job done. Beds are short - I am 6 ft and my feet dangled off the edge, but I rarely sleep with legs fully extended anyway. People in the comments complain about the couch, but it's fine as long as you're not spending your vacation there.

Supreme location, lovely house. Everything was as advertised. Hotel quality bed linen and towels.
Maybe a minor but only 2 cups, not that it matter really. Showerhead dropped onto my husband's head when he tried to adjust it.

The view was amazing and the grounds wonderful to sit out in. The staff went above and beyond from check-in to the bar staff and the lady's in the restaurant friendly and so helpful and welcoming. The best pint of Guinness and the most fantastic food . The mussels in particular where ordered each day . The steak was cooked to perfection and the fish and scallops where fresh and so tasty.
The only thing to let us down was the bed!! Both rooms have double beds but unfortunately there only 4foot beds so our feet where off the bottom if we stretched out our legs ,which ment we had cramps from keeping our knees bent. .

Comfortable, spotlessly clean and tidy, convenient. Useful small kitchen. Three toilets! Warm enough when heaters on - didnt take v long. Open fire with limited kindling, but ample firelighters and turf. Not v good for the atmosphere burning turf... Ireland finding it hard to address this tradition.
As if I wasnt expected. Cold when I arrived at suggested time. None of the heaters nor hot water on. No soap / shampoo. One lightbulb out. V busy woman (Ann) serving at the bar and helping me. Unable to get the hot water too heat up and by the time i realised this it was a bit late to check with Ann. Tried all switches and ran hot tap for quite a long time - upstairs too. Eventually washed in the sink using hot water from the kettle. Had the rooms been warm, soap etc provided and hot water it would have been delightful.

The cottage was cosy and inviting for a couple. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.
The cottage is ideal for two people. Living space is limited meaning it would be uncomfortable for a third or fourth person. The two seater sofa is uncomfortable and needs to be replaced.

Great location. Food at Jack's amazing. Apartment had positives and negatives. Need to up grade furniture - sofa, stools & beds and would be a great place to stay.
Most uncomfortable sofa, could feel springs when sitting down. Not clothes rack for drying clothes on when a washing machine was provided? Found glass on the floor in a bedroom upstairs which kids were staying in.
