I have stayed there many times, would not keep coming back if not happy

Hayley greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our room. I had requested a room with a view which was up two flights of well lit stairs. Walking into the room and opening the patio doors gave us an amazing view of the River Tamar and Isambard Kingdom Brunel's, 'Royal Albert Bridge' rail-bearing bridge and the road-bearing Tamar Bridge from Plymouth in Devon to Saltash in Cornwall! Our room 4 was warm and spacious, a separate bathroom with a large shower and pleasant, quality fittings. There was a helpful young lady who brought up an additional towel for me to use in the shower on request. After a good night's sleep, breakfast was very well prepared by a talented chef on site. Everything was freshly cooked, I thoroughly enjoyed the freshly cooked bacon, it was not pre cooked, which tends to go a little dry. The lady serving was very polite, asking us if everything was OK and if we required more tea. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay thank you!

Picky me but a toast rack?!

Evening meal was good, breakfast was fantastic!! Good location, quiet at night.

The carpet in the room was very dirty, looked like stained from dirty shoes. The carpet was a beige colour which meant the dirt/stains showed up quite badly. The carpet needs a thorough clean or replacement. The stool was also in a bad state. The bathroom was fine though clean with fresh towels. The electrics also looked a bit untidy, and not sure if they are a spur off a spur which is considered unsafe.
