This place is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. A lovely bay, far from the noisy crowds. The apartment we were accommodated in was spacious, exceptionally clean, with a large bathroom featuring a bathtub. It is equipped with everything you might need – stovetop, electric kettle, refrigerator, drip coffee machine, and all kinds of utensils to prepare your own meals (although this isn't necessary, as the house has a small restaurant where you can enjoy fresh seafood).The hosts, Pero and Jele, are among the warmest, most welcoming people I’ve ever met. Each afternoon, after returning from yet another beautiful and unique beach, we were greeted by Jele with a slice of delicious homemade cake — a small but heartfelt gesture that made us feel truly at home. You could savor it on the peaceful terrace or right on the pier, watching the gentle arrival of yachts as the sun kissed the sea.

Lovely Apartments in a Charming Location with the Best Hosts

Apartments Lampalo and the hosts were so lovely that I ended up extending my stay by a few days! The apartment is incredibly spacious with a well-equipped kitchen, a huge bathroom (with a tub!), and a balcony overlooking the picturesque bay. I kept the balcony door open each night because the surroundings were so peaceful. The owners are exceptionally gracious hosts—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful—they truly make it feel like a home away from home. And let's talk about the cakes! Everyone raves about their amazing cherry cake (YES!), but I have to also mention the delightful coconut cake with chocolate—it was delicious! The hosts also run a restaurant on-site, which is very convenient and offers well-priced, generous portions. I highly recommend dining here as well and having the sea bass. You can conveniently swim right in front of the apartments in the beautiful, clear water. I had a car during my stay on Mljet, which made exploring the island easy. It took me about 35-40 minutes to reach Mljet National Park, though it's worth noting I visited in early June, a quieter time with very few tourists / few cars. I'm incredibly glad I discovered this place. I fell in love with Mljet overall, but Apartments Lampalo played a significant role in shaping my experience. I will definitely be back in the future!

The wifi was a little spotty sometimes, but mostly reliable - no issue unless you need it for work that requires super high-speed or frequent video calls.

Wonderful hospitality in idyllic location

Wonderful hospitality in a gorgeous location. We have stayed at Apartments Lampalo many times and highly recommend. The hosts look after their guests so well with daily gifts of delicious home made cakes. The restaurant is excellent and the apartments are well equipped with lovely views. It is a perfect place!

This accommodation is superb! Wonderful location and the friendliest and kindness of hosts. We have stayed in many places in Croatia and this was our nicest experience. Jesna's freshly baked cakes hot out of the oven made a delicious breakfast. Thank you so much and we so look forward to returning next year.

We went to Okukjle as a family group and my son and his girlfriend stayed here- but we all ate evening meals here twice. This is an exceptional.place with absolutely lovely owners who baked cakes for all 5 of us every morning! It is clean, comfortable and in a beautiful location by the water. The food in the restaurant is outstanding. We would all love to return.

Okuklje is exceptional, peace, quiet and wonderful. Once you arrive from the top of the moutain and see the wonderful view on the village and haven, you already guess it will be a paradise to stay there. The apartment is very better than on the photos, is well equiped, big with 2 bedrooms. It's a perfect place to stay in family for a good quality/price and the view on the haven and the village from the terrace is just amazing. You just want to stay on this terrace, take meals and read a book. Piero and his wife are very sympathic hosts, and their welcome was exceptional. Thanks for this stay. You were wonderful hosts.

Everything was perfect. The single thing we can say is that we found the price for the apartment very reasonable, but at the contrary and oddly, the prices for dinner at the apartment were quite expensive regarding the quantity/quality.

A truly memorable stay in the most idyllic location.

Eddie and his family were amazing; going above and beyond with their hospitality. We had drinks and cake on arrival; Eddie would wait up until we got back in the evening to chat about our day! It was one of the most idyllic locations I have visited; well away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist hotspots. From start to finish they were incredible; we even had the most wonderful fresh cake delivered to us at the ferry port as we had to leave before it was cooked! The apartment was also excellent value for money.

the host was very nice, everyday he gave us freshly baked cake. The apartment was clean, it had a balcony with an amazing view. The room also had a fully functioning kitchen. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back as soon as possible. This is the best location for you if you like smaller and quiet sea villages.

An amazing experience we'll never forget

Everything was perfect, from the welcoming smile of our hosts, a smile that was always there, for everything they've done to help us, to make us feel welcome, really it was one of the best experiences we've ever had. They were friendly, always there if we needed something. They've answered to every request of ours, the place was wonderful, the room was amazing. There is really nothing more we could have asked for. If we ever come back to Mljet (beautiful island, we loved it as well), we won't hesitate a single second where we would like to stay. Thanks a lot to them and to anyone traveling to Mljet, this is the place to stay to have a wonderful time you'll never forget

A great guesthouse. Perfect location and view from the balcony. It is very clean, the room, kitchen and bathroom are well-equipped. The owners, Jele and Petar, very nice and helpful. They work extremely hard to provide us with high comfort during our stay. We got delicious, fresh cakes every day. They also prepare a delicious dinner at very good prices. They also helped us with transport issues. Own access to the bay on site, parking spaces for motorists and a berth for yachts. I definitely recommend it.

A perfect stay

We had a most amazing stay - wonderful facilities, sparkling clean room, gorgeous view over the harbor and incredible hospitality from the hosts. Jele and Petar took care of us and made sure we had a fantastic time . Jele is a wonderful baker - we got to try several of her creations and they were all utterly delicious . Make sure you stay for dinner - the fresh fish prepared over a wood fire is the best we ever had. We will be back for sure

Once again we had a perfect stay at apartments Lampalo. We were well welcomed by Jele and Pero, they are lovely people who care for their guest. The studio was nice, spacious, super clean and with everything we needed and the balcony with a beautiful view on Okujle ! We also loved the food of the restaurant and the fresh baked cakes and pancakes of Jele ! It's like we were at home ! Thank you again !

Our best stay in Croatia!

Petar and Elena’s apartment is everything you could wish. Comfortable, very clean and in an unbeatable location! Our stay was the best of our three weeks in Croatia without a doubt. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, making you feel at home quickly. We traveled with our 4 year old daughter who felt very loved there. And Elena baked cakes every morning! Thank you, thank you very much!
