Lovely place

Clean apartment, well equipped kitchen, lovely view from the balcony. Very nice host. Super close to Saplunara beach and to local store. Good value for money

Parking, a bit difficult to park and get in/out of the parking especially when there were more cars parked.

Super price-value apartment to rent for family vacation.

The rooms were super clean. Apartment was well equipped and very well functioning, no old or unmaintained equipment. The owners were friendly. Booking.com chat with the owners was super fast and helpful. Grocery store within 5mins walk, beach within 10mins walk.

Parking with a car was a bit difficult (small or harder to navigate in).

Fantastic vacation

Good value for money. Very nice apartment and friendly hosts who will be happy to help you with tips about the island. Remember to ask where to go for dinner. Our dog was also very welcome.

Exceptional

On the day of arrival there was confusion about our room. In short, the room wouldn't have been ready for us until 19.00. That wasn't even that big of a problem for us since we arrived only at about 18.00. The owner however felt that he needed to apologise, although we said that everything was ok and we would just take a walk with our dog. He insisted that he wants to offer us a dinner in a small local family owned restaurant in the Korita village. Just a short distance from the apartment. At this point I must thank both of them, Ivo, the owner of the apartments and Šime from the family restaurant. The dinner was exceptional. As first dish we got salted anchovies on top of a fermented plant (Motar), that was delicious. Grilled fish, potatoes and mixed salad follwed. Pancakes came as dessert. All the portions were abundant. Everything was accompained with some good homemade white wine and liqueurs. The second times we ate here was also very good. Can't match the "brudet" they make with some of the islands restaurants. The price is also very affordable and excellent for a homemade local cuisine. Couldn't reccomend it more! Just ask Ivo about Šime and he will reserve a place or put you in contact with Šime. All in all an excellent experience due to good and welcoming people of the Mljet island. A big thanks to Ivo and his family that made us feel so welcomed and at ease.

Quiet and clean apartment for a relaxed holiday with sandy beaches and stunning nature

Very nice and super clean apartment within two minute walking distance from a beach. Other beaches, a small supermarket etc. very close. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere, beautiful surroundings. We had the two bedroom apartment, traveling as a family with two grown up kids and a small dog. Everything we needed was there and we enjoyed our meals on the terrace with the sea blinking through the trees. The hosts are great, very helpful, humorous and friendly. We would definitely choose this acommodation again.

A proper vacation

The hosts were exceptionally kind and have been there for everything we needed, from a hair-dryer, to clean towels, to restaurant reccomendations and reservations (take their advice, they are local and really know the island well). Saplunara in general is really quiet, not crowded, and great for a perfect rest.

The lights around the house could be a bit better; there are lights with sensors, but the sensors could react a few steps earlier and light up the way sooner.

It is our most wonderful experience to have stayed here and visited beaches and Odysseus' Cave!

The apartment was very comfortable with modern equipment and good-taste arrangement, and completely clean! The view from the balcony is wonderful. The owner's family was very kind and friendly helped us to visit fantastic Odysseus' Cave. We would like to stay next time much longer in this apartment.

Location pas à la hauteur de la note Booking et du prix pratiqué

Accueil sympathique (merci pour la bouteille de vin), parking gratuit, emplacement proche plage, bar, superette, wifi performant

Le standing du logement n'est pas en adéquation avec la note booking de 9,4 ni avec le prix pratiqué (40% trop cher) : Literie inconfortable, équipements réduits (pas de micro-ondes, pas de tasse à café, ...), équipements obsolètes (toile cirée usagée, bouilloire malodorante remplacée à notre demande, ...), parties extérieures de la residences négligées, pas agréables. Le jardin évoqué dans l'annonce n'existe pas et les chaises longues sont au nombre de 1 pour l'ensemble des résidents de l'immeuble. Ce constat équivaut normalement à une note booking de 7,5 voire 7 au vue de notre longue expérience de location via Booking.
