About this villa rental
This beautiful villa is located in the countryside, nestled amongst olive groves and vineyards, close to the stunning Sierra de Tejeda Natural Park. The villa has very good access and the accommodation comprises 2 double bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom, a family bathroom, lounge/diner and fully fitted and equipped kitchen. Outside there is a swimming pool and a large terraced area where you can take in the stunning views - perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and watching the sun go down. This is an ideal base for walkers, photographers and artists, or anyone just wanting to relax and get away from it all. The villa is a short drive from the pretty whitewashed villages of Canillas de Albaida, Archez, Salares and Competa where you can find local supermarkets, shops, a variety of excellent restaurants and bars, chemists and a bank.
The villa is approximately a one hour drive from Malaga airport.
The coastal town of Torre del Mar is approximately a thirty minute drive away and Nerja is a forty minute drive both via a mountain road.

After the winding roads (which take some getting used to as they get steep and narrow) the final stretch of dirt road led us to an amazing view high up over the valley towards the white villages... and there's a small pool (enough for cooling off but rounds rather than lengths!) Kim and Jan were very welcoming and efficient. The property has everything you need (although a bit dated and no wifi and satellite TV limited to mainly German channels)... but for relaxing and reading and admiring the views - hard to beat. Beach a short drive away. Competa too. Truly a tranquil place.

We had a lovely week in the mountains. This is a great base for visiting Malaga. We were excited to show our boys the place we stayed on our honeymoon and to make new memories with them there. The amenities are great and there are lots of space. Our hosts were so friendly and we were really pleased thank you!

We really enjoyed our 2-week-trip to the mountain sides of Andalucia. The only thing getting used to is that the location is far off and it's at least a 30-minute trip to get to the beach or to bigger supermarkets. The swimming pool is perfect when you're not feeling to drive and just want to relax. All in all it's a really relaxing and idyllic place to enjoy.
