Welcome to Casa Linnea – An Authentic Andalusian Escape under the Sun. Discover the real Spain in the charming white village of Canillas de Albaida. Beautifully renovated to high modern standards while preserving its rustic charm, our spacious 150 m² townhouse is the perfect retreat for families, friends, or remote workers.

This elegant and spacious townhouse is approximately 150 m², distributed over several levels, featuring a large open-plan kitchen/dining room, 2 double bedrooms, and a bedroom/TV room with 2 single beds.
The house is divided into two parts, providing more privacy for family members or the bigger group of people. You will reach the other side of the house through the Andalusian central patio or through the summer kitchen that is situated on the rooftop, between two private roof terraces.
From the 2 spacious roof terraces, there are views of the Mediterranean, the stunning Axarquia countryside, mountains, and the rooftops of Canillas de Albaida.
Canillas de Albaida is a perfect place to spend some peaceful days and discover the culture and beautiful landscapes and experience a real taste of Spain. With many excellent restaurants, one centred on the pretty plaza, a couple of minutes from our house, where you can enjoy the gastronomy of the region. Several local shops are nearby for your daily needs and larger supermarkets are a short drive away.
The natural park of Sierra Tejeda, Almijara, and Alhama starts on our doorstep, and it offers spectacular scenery with hiking tracks, tracks for mountain biking, and scenic drives on many Pueblos Blancos of the Axarquia region to explore. The Axarquia region of Andalucia is great to visit any time of year, spring and autumn being the best for walking in the hills on the many paths and trails.
Guest Access:
As our guest, you will have exclusive access to the entire 150 m² townhouse, including the two private roof terraces, the summer kitchen, and the traditional Andalusian patio. No spaces are shared with other guests or hosts.
Easy Check-In:
Keybox or Keyless Entry: We offer flexible self-check-in via a secure keybox or keyless smart lock (using the Nuki app). You will receive your access link and detailed directions well in advance of your arrival.
Car Access:
The house is located on a charming, pedestrian-only street in the heart of the old village. However, you can drive very close to the house to easily unload your luggage and groceries.
Free Parking: There is plenty of free parking available in the village's public parking lots, located just a short 2–3 minute walk from the house.
Public Pool (Summer Months):
During the summer, you will have access to Canillas de Albaida's fantastic outdoor public pool, located just a short walk away. The pool area features a lifeguard and a cozy restaurant/bar (a small entry fee of approximately €2 per person applies, paid directly to the municipality).
We have English-speaking personnel who take care of our house while we are not in Spain. They meet and greet our guests and help them with all practicalities in the house. A welcome package is always arranged according to guests' needs. We also have a gardener who visits the house around twice per week.
Casa Linnea is complying with technical conditions and quality requirements for house renting assigned by the Registry of Tourism of Andalusia (CR/MA/01532).
Long-term bookings (over 28 days but max 2 months) may be accepted during the period Oct-March (low season). Please get in touch with the owner for terms and conditions.
Important House Rules & Booking Conditions:
# Maximum Occupancy: The house comfortably accommodates a maximum of 6 guests.
# Stairs: Please note that the layout is distributed across three floors and features many stairs. It may not be suitable for young children or guests with limited mobility.
# Wood Burner: Guests are welcome to use the wood-burning stove. Firewood is not provided but can easily be purchased locally at nearby shops.
# Long-Term Bookings (Over 14 Days) – Electricity Policy: To ensure sustainable energy use, we apply the following policy for stays exceeding two weeks.
# Electricity Allowance: €150 worth of electricity usage per month is fully included in your booking fee.
# Additional Usage: Any electricity consumption exceeding the €150 monthly allowance will be charged and deducted from your deposit. Utility Deposit: A refundable electricity deposit of €400 will be collected prior to check-in. This deposit will be returned after your stay, minus any extra electricity charges.

We were lucky enough to stay here for three weeks this year. It is a fantastic house. Comfortable, spacious, good WiFi and 2 lovely terraces for eating outside. It is located in a lovely village with friendly people who always say hello😁. If you like hiking the area is wonderful. This is our second time staying in Casa Linea and I have no doubt that we will be back again.

A lovely, quaint and quirky house in a beautiful white-washed village in the hills, away from noise and traffic. Short or long walks through the hills or to neighbouring villages and nice local bars to relax in afterwards.

La casa está bien, muchas hormigas pero todo muy limpio y muy acogedor, lo malo las curvas que hay para llegar a la casa 45 minutos en curvas , se nos hizo muy pesado .
Y la piscina no es de la propiedad es del pueblo, por lo que te toca pagar cada vez que vas.
