Great location and a fantastic host

We booked 2 apartments in the same house, as we were 5 people x 6 nights. Stari Grad is a nice place to stay and discover Hvar Island. Peter (the tenant) is really great and we had a warm welcome and a good dialogue all along our stay. (recommendations for the lovely places to discover, restaurants, ... and some fresh & tasty tomatoes from his garden !) The apartments are simples but confortables. The A/C works well and the terrasse outside is a plus !

The road in front on the house can be very nosy, with motorbikes or quads. But it's true that we don't spend so much time in the house.

Nice vacation

Close to the center, only few minutes away, yet quiet. Very clean. We booked a room and got an apartment for the same price. 🙂 Stari Grad is a nice place for holiday, not too crowdy, just pleasently booked. 🙂

Comfortable apartment in a quiet area

The apartment is situated in a quiet area. The kitchen Is well furnished. We cooked 2 nights. There Is a very small vegetables market close by, a bakery (Tepic) and a supermarket (Tommy). The beds are very comfortable. There might be some mosquitos so you need to keep the main door closed but all windows have mosquitos nets. There Is a drying rack to put swimming suit and towels after the beach and a table outside. The host is very kind. We stayed 6 nights and he gave us new towels. The parking is in front of the house with a gate. There Is also a big parking outside the house.

Not bad for the price

Booked last minute, this was the only thing on the whole island that was affordable. The bedroom was large, private balcony. Fridge and kettle in the room. Air conditioning. Designated off-street parking. Host spoke decent English. Short walk into Stari Grad centre and 10min drive to the car ferry terminal.

One door of the apartment connected to the host's kitchen, so when the family were in there cooking etc it could be quite loud (although this wasn't happening late at night or early morning). No towel for the floor so after showering it got wet and slippery. No toiletries. Bed was OK comfort-wise.

Lovely host, very easy to check in and out. Perfect location 5 mins from supermarket, town and 7 mins to the bus stop.

The beds were firm, so if your need a soft bed this might not be the place for you.

Superb

Host was very accommodating and welcoming. The flat was clean and tidy. The air con worked well. It was an easy 7 minute walk into town and close to a supermarket. The kitchen was a nice feature.

One of us had a cold shower but other than everything else was good!
