Villa Santa Barbara

The views are incredible, the staff so friendly and welcoming, swimming pool is fab, rooms and grounds clean and quiet.

It’s a bit of an uphill walk from the city centre but this was pleasant on an evening and definitely worthwhile for the views and quiet surroundings!

There were a few extra add ons that we weren’t aware of. If you’re going to the pool or the beach bring your own towels as there is a charge for extra towels.

We stayed in a family room so there was a double bedroom and a double sofa bed, which was all comfortable. The apartment is a good size and it was nice to have a terrace with chairs and a clothes drying rack. The swimming pool and sun bed area is good with nice views over Cefalu. Bar snacks were limited but there's a small kitchenette in the apartment if needed. Parking is on the road directly in front of the hotel. The walk into Cefalu doesn't take long, although it's steep so the way back took a little longer in the evening heat! Lots of lovely shops and restaurants in Cefalu and great sunset spots. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The common facilities were fabulous. The views were breathtaking and staff were very helpful.

My room was very disappointing. It was on top floor of building and in the attic space. It had beautiful views but half the room was below head height.there was a fridge in room with microwave on top but the kitchen utensils and plates were in the wardrobe. You had to wash dishes in the bathroom sink which was less than satisfactory.
