Mansion Giahn Bed & Breakfast

A nice neighborhood hotel between the airport and town. Very nice grounds to sit and relax. Convenient to the collectivo into town.

The only items provided for breakfast were tea and coffee. But there is an OXXO a short walk away.

The building itself is really beautiful. My room was big and the the bed was comfy. The room and en-suite were clean and the shower was hot and powerful. I only stayed one night as was transiting in Cancun so the location being near the airport was ideal.

They were doing some construction work which was quite loud but as I was only staying one night it wasn’t too much of an issue

Wonderful reception by Eduardo and Gatito, high speed wifi, air conditioning, clean, comfortable, we got a corner room with a lovely view of the pool and surrounded by jungle birds and fruit trees... The house is a hidden gem and quite surprising to us, I just love the character and the grounds are kept in impeccable and clean beauty. The surrounding neighborhood is relaxed, it is great that we can walk to Oxxo and authentic tacos within a few blocks, and it is safe at night, but arriving through the pueblo did make us nervous and our driver from the airport had to make a few U-Turns. Absolutely perfect for those coming with a car, there is a huge, safe parking lot, to ease the transportation dilema!! We are most surprised and delighted by the pricing which allowed us to stay an extra 3 relaxing and calming days while we handled a disastrous (unrelated) experience with our airline.

I would have enjoyed having a table to sit at to eat and use of the kitchen to cook us a few meals... Otherwise everything is spot on and we will stay again, we love Mansion Giahn. There is almost absolutely no way to get back to the property after 11pm do not count on public transportation if you are traveling from Cancun hotel zone or beach by night, there are only taxis and they charge a lot during the more popular traveling weeks / high season. Taking the bus is really the only option to get back from the hotel and pueblo to the Cancun main roads and it takes a really long time, but the bici taxis in the pueblo are handy and 10pesos per person, and all people we spoke with were very friendly and helpful. Luckily we are very used to traveling in Mexico and speak Spanish, were able to navigate with some effort.

The staff was really nice and the accommodation is close to the airport.

Rooms were very basic and unfortunately not super clean.
