Good and resonably priced for my 2 nights stay.

I did not have breakfast at the Monkey Room. Location central Marbella - with heavy luggage accesable from the main road. With very light luggage through the old town Marbella.

I would have preferred a room on the ground floor as no lift to upper floors

Mostly ? I liked the location, price and mosquito blocking device ( best thing about the room)

The location was awesome and the AC worked great!

I traveled with a party of 15, upon arriving 2 of our rooms were not available. We eventually worked it out with the staff and were able to get our rooms. A couple members of our party found ants in their toiletry bags and blood on the sheets. My room was fine.

Hostal monkey room

The hostal is situated in the centre of Marbella, in a good position to reach everything, from the beach to the bus station for Málaga. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Everything was ok except the bathroom, could be improved, especially cleaning service and the shower which was a bit rusted.

Very basic, bit kverpieced but great location and great staff.

Great location, and the woman who worked on the front desk was really lovely. The shower had decent water pressure. The ceiling fan was a godsend.

The bed isn't super comfortable, and its really loud, especially when people are using their bathroom or walking up/down the stairs. For the price, you'd expect a bit more than what you get. It's very basic, in need of refurb, and the shower just being the bottom bit with a curtain isn't great as you flood the floor whenever you shower.

The location was excellent staff friendly good value for August the room single no5 was small that was ok but stifling no fan no air conditioning and it smelt of damp May be the double upstairs are better bit avoid no 5

Best location. My room was satisfactory for what I needed. Nothing fancy. A place to sleep with washing facilities. The location was magical. Just the best location.

I didn't like that the room, the lenjery where very dirty, towels were also with stains from the begining when i've done the check in and also the fridge was very dirty and it doesn t work at all. Overall all The building was not clean,I didn t like that think

No shelves at sink of shower room for my stuff. No light over sink, dark area. No roof terrace for sitting out but it seems they are refurbishing as I saw bags of cement and hears drilling.

I wouldn’t visit that place again.

It’s central, in the middle of the historic town of Marbella.

The receptionist came late and we had to wait for a bit more than half an hour in the reception and there wasn’t anybody. When they came they didn’t even apologize. My partner was a bit I’ll and needed to lay down. I also called them several times but couldn’t reach anybody. The number I called is the number they send me in the confirmation E-Mail. The bathroom is really tight, I couldn’t do my hair there because I needed space to move my arms, that’s why I had to get out of the bathroom while trying to look at the mirror of the bathroom. There was no sofa or chair in the room. Also not so hygienic. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Bad

I went there but there was no one to open the door. I couldn't check in , and they took the money from my bank as I was their guest, and they didn't even send a no-show massage from booking , as they do always when you don't go to your reservation.

mouldy, damp room. Smelly, no toilet roll. bed was broken and you sunk in to the middle. water constantly trickling. Paper thin walls and you could heard EVERYTHING! There was a mess outside the window of the room, a window that had a view of the hallway.

Marbella visit

The street on which the hostel is located was cute.

There was supposed to be a kitchen in the hostel but there was no such thing. Looked like there was some construction going on in the hostel. Air conditioning was not working, it was noisy in the night. The shower door was broken and there was a really dirty courtain instead.
