An interesting old building with an eccentric owner in a pretty small village location with few other facilities. A basic breakfast and dinner using local produce were both served by the owner.
The corridors could do with extra lighting. Avoid the prehistoric carvings in the village which are only reproductions.

This hotel is a charming building with parts said to date to the 14th century. Our room was dark but very comfortable and the windows opened onto a very quiet lane. The property is a delightful one.
The proprietor was off-hand in manner. The hotel has a tiresome dog which, from time to time, was caressed by those who then proceeded to serve food.
