This hostel is a perfect choice for a budget stay in Mostar! The hostel has only two rooms, equipped with simple bunk beds and lockers, sheets and towels, as well as air conditioning (which was needed in the 40-degree summer heat!). There is a well-furnished kitchen and common bathroom, which is spacious and cleaned daily. There is also a nice courtyard with a table for outdoor meals and space to hang clothes to dry.
The hostel is well-located, a 10-minute walk from the centre in a quiet residential area.
The hosts are also wonderful. When one of us got sick during our stay, they were extremely attentive and supportive. We were really struck by their kindness - it left an extremely positive impression in the midst of a difficult situation. It is these types of gestures that really set one place apart from the others!
I wholeheartedly recommend Hostel Bojo for a simple, budget-friendly, clean and pleasant experience in Mostar.

Pleasant courtyard. Good bed sheets. There is normal kitchen inside.
Unfortunately when I was there there was no hot water. The hostel is located near the Old Bridge, but far from the bus and train stops.

After reading amazing reviews we were really underwhelmed. Maybe it is because we were in the bedroom in the main house instead of in the hostel? Location and WiFi is good and the room is spacious and has its own balcony. Price and breakfast is okay. However we didn’t feel welcome. The woman and her son were fighting a lot, especially in the mornings.
Communication was difficult, the woman speaks no English, so in the mornings with breakfast we were never sure if we were getting it or not or whose it was. We used the laundry service however our laundry was put outside in the rain even though it was kept inside the first night. So we had to leave with most of our clothes wet and smelling like smoke (other people smoked in the courtyard). She also snapped at other guests because they were late, checking out. The son spoke better English especially when we had to pay but wasn’t too friendly. Maybe its because it’s the end of the season? Stay in the hostel or find a different place, there are many.
