The hotel is beautifully maintained and the owners are friendly and very attentive. Tonia and her family were very welcoming and look after their guests well. It’s a short walk to the old port and about half an hour into the main part of town. It is hilly and take a torch for late returns as there are so few taxis on the island it’s likely you will be walking. The hotel offers a port transfer, which is great as it’s generally a car free island.
We’d accidentally got off the ferry on an unexpected stop on the Greek mainland. Apparently others have done this, so be careful! We hadn’t expected our FlyingCat ferry to call at another port between Hydra and Spetses. We called Tonia and she directed us across to Porta Kosta via taxi and then onto a small passenger ferry. Thank goodness for her local knowledge. And thanks to the guy in the restaurant at Port Ermioni and Kostas Taxis for getting us to the Katerina Star ferry!
After the minor mishap it was a relief to arrive at the peaceful hotel. Our room was lovely with a sea view. The beds are comfortable and we loved the traditional style. It was cleaned and fresh towels everyday. The hotel has a nice pool area and a lovely shaded terrace for breakfast. It’s possibly the best breakfast we have had, there was plenty of choice, fresh fruit, pastries and continental selection. We would definitely return and will hire a quad to travel more easily around the island. Thank you to Tonia and her family for your hospitality.

The place is peaceful, really beautiful, clean, and the breakfasts are absolutely amazing! Booking a room here is a decision you won’t regret – everything is simply perfect. The staff is always here and available to give good advices, that’s such a great feeling when you arrive in a new place. ☺️
A big plus: the transfer from the port to the hotel was smooth and came with a warm smile and friendly welcome.

Lovely accomodation and very friendly and helpful staff. The room had everything we needed and we enjoyed the breakfast and the pool. Would definitely come back when visiting Spetses.
