A pleasant host who allowed us to put our motorbikes on the hotel terrace/garden (it was quiet and mid-week so not sure if this is always an option but there was also adequate street parking). It is a lovely, old building in a quiet village. The room was spacious and very clean with a modern bathroom. The hotel terrace is lovely, the beer was good and the food was delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

It was nice to have an on-site restaurant/bar, and outdoor courtyard to enjoy. The included breakfast was wonderful. The bedroom and bath were clean, fresh and up to date. The host and his wife were very helpful and went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed. The location was exactly what we needed... someplace between Salzburg and Vienna that was close to the Mauthausen Memorial.

A traditional guesthouse with an Austrian spirit, and its owner, Cristof, is an absolutely fantastic person. We returned to this guesthouse with great pleasure after seven years. In the evening, without us saying anything, he reserved the same table where we had dinner seven years ago. In the morning, when I came to the car to put my luggage in, I saw Cristof inflating my rear tire — he had noticed before I did that I had a flat tire. Afterwards, he accompanied me to a nearby service station, where we solved the problem. A very clean and welcoming guesthouse, with excellent cuisine.
