This is one of the best place in Banska Stiavnica. The apartman is in the centre, but still very quiet.

Location is good, easy to walk around the town from the apartment. The owners are easily reachable on whats app and they are really friendly. Check in and check out is simple and easy. The onswers send you detailed information of how to get in and out of the apartment so that made self check in easy. The room is beautifully decorated and there is good heating. Cozy apartment. The kitchen was well stocked with kettle, stove top, fridge etc. They also had tea bags and some things in the kitchen that we could use. That was kind. Lovely small little town too - very picturesque.

One of the days we had almost no hot water. The owner let us know that they have a boiler with 5 litres of hot water but we only had very limited hot water on the first day - not enough to have one shower and wash hair. It didn't heat up again for a really long time. We had to shower in ice cold water and the weather at the start of April is still really cold. I applaud them for trying to cut costs and be environmentally friendly but a hot shower to feel clean is also important. What we weren't told about was that quite a lot of the old town had been burnt down in a recent fire so some of the things we wanted to see was no longer there. I think it would have been nice to have been told about that so that we could stayed one night instead of two because there was no need for the second night for us. One more thing that isn't really the owners fault but there isn't much happening in the town at the start of April so when we went out for dinner at 730pm three restaurants turned us away because they had already closed and we ended up eating mediocre pizza for dinner 😂. Also one more thing, the parking cost us 16 Euros and the parking isn't near to where the apartment is - not too difficult but a bit inconvenient.

A cute amazing place in heart of town. Highly recommended.
