Loved the location, the pub next door was great too, lovely food and staff. Breakfast was brilliant and all the staff were friendly. Good car parking space, good shower pressure and hot water! Had everything we needed
I feel bad saying as we really did enjoy our stay but there were a few things which I feel could have improved our stay… My Pillow, But that’s preference! One was as hard as a rock and the other was too soft 😅 but the mattress was comfy!
Oh and a little fridge would have been handy as we were hiking and there weren’t many shops around so just a little fridge to put some yogurts/snacks etc.
Also the offer of clean towels and refreshing the tea/coffee in the rooms would have been great too.
Also we had people walking right past our bedroom window to the car park which was less than ideal and we were in a room with the entrance literally in the kitchen/dining area so I felt we had very little privacy. It seemed really quiet at the hotel so I’m not sure if better rooms would have been available but I feel the one we were given should be a last resort to offer guests. Sorry! Just hope this helps to improve, because honestly I would stay again!

Lovely Guest House, in a super location with on site parking. There was a lovely fragrance in the main reception area. The single en suite room with roadside view was cosy and exceptionally clean with complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. The bed was super comfortable. The vegetarian breakfast option was super and very tasty, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The loch side view from the dining area was great.
The evening meal menu at the pub next door had great vegetarian options and the food was delicious.
The lock on the room door was loose, it looked like the door had previously been broken into and the lock wasn’t as secure as it should be.
