Excellent restaurant in building.
Difficult to find using my motorcycle GPS which took me 100m down the road to where No. 48 should be. The Booking.com map does shows the correct position but I would question the street number stated in the details.
Parking for motel guests is not as shown in the photos but down the street on the opposite side. As I ate in the restaurant I was allowed to park my motorcycle clear of the restaurant parking spaces (in the photos) but by the door. This was fine and gave me out of sight parking where I could unload my bags directly to my room. However, it should be noted this parking is on a one way street not able to be accessed from the road in the address.
The lighting in my room was poor. The ceiling light was dim and there was no bulb in the wall light over the bed.
There was no controller for the aircon but I needed warmth anyway. There was a wall heater but its controls are unusable probably due to having melted. Putting the plug in the electric wall socket turned the heater on full blast but when the room temperature was adequate the plug was very hot. This heater may well be a potential fire hazard.
The finishes in the room are tired and need refreshing and updating.
Lastly, the shower drain is partially blocked. Luckily I noticed this before the room got flooded.
The room was just about adequate for my needs but is well past the point when it should have been refurbished.
