    Hotel Olomouc review We absolutely loved our stay. Great value for money. As a mature couple travelling Europe we had a terrible experience with our last Airbnb apartment in Romania and booked this hotel last minute to have a break from Airbnb. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile by the young lady at the reception. While she was completing our check in (admired the beautiful fresh flower arrangement at the desk while waiting) we had our lemon water which was a great welcoming gesture. Plenty of free car carpark on the front of the hotel. Our room was on the second floor facing the main road (also facing our car which we were happy) with the balcony. Road noise was only noticeable when you open the balcony door or while enjoying your morning coffee. Our room was very spacious and everything was new. Appreciated the two bottles (glass not plastic) of water (sparkling and still) and four coffee pods for the expresso coffee maker. Shower was great and the bed and high quality bed linen was amazing. Funky furniture was very hip and comfortable. No unnecessary items or clutter which I appreciated. There is a shopping centre within 7 minutes (nice walking option). It takes 45 minutes to walk down to old centre or short tram ride (tram 1 or 4). We enjoyed the old town. The only complaint I have is that McDonalds sign was visible from my window which is not the hotels fault. Overall great stay. Highly recommend and yes we will be back if we are in the area again.
