Hotel Medium Renaixença

Breakfast is exceptional and made the stay here. Location is also perfect as near to the action in Sitges

This mini-hotel is very nice but has little in the way of facilities. For this the sister hotel Romance next door provides the breakfast and has lounges etc available. Overall not a major problem.

Central - big rooms

No reception, no access to the pool at Medium Park

Room was small, but had everything that was needed, including a mini fridge and tea/coffee making facility. Shame window was so small. Rooms were kept very clean Breakfast in sister hotel was fabulous( better than 4* hotel we later stayed in Barcelona). Lovely to be able to sit in cool calm courtyard

Slight negative was no lift, bit hot taking bags up to 2nd floor, but good exercise after the cava and cocktails

Location was great. Staff nice and helpful. Some parts of the hotel were charming with a lot of character.

I was initially put in room 1. It really smelled of bad drains and was pretty foul. That room also is right next to the front door and it bangs loudly when guest come in, so you get woken though out the night. You also can’t open the windows for fresh air. I eventually complained after two bad nights and they moved me after the 3rd night to a much nicer room upstairs. Reading past reviews this is on ongoing problem. They really should not rent out this room or it should be heavily discounted and they warn you. I felt bad for the person who moved in after me. You could still smell the drains when you walked past the room - even with the doors closed.
