A great central apartment with lots of opportunity.

The location is perfect for a seaside holiday being located immediately behind the harbour and close to long beaches. The apartment was spacious, well appointed and clean. And the Danish breakfast was more than enough for a hungry biker!

The apartments and rooms were separate and finding ours took time as there was no manned reception. We even asked other guests who didn't know where the apartments were! We eventually found a telephone number but as my UK mobile wouldn't connect it didn't help. Eventually I found I had a text and email telling me the door code, and entrance to the apartments via a metal staircase at the rear of the building. It all ended well but earlier information about accessing the apartment would have helped - not late on the day of arrival after a long day in the saddle.

Weekend luxury in the old seafarers mission

We booked the Seaside Hotel for our weekend trip for ageing bikers ;). 5 couples on motor bikes for a weekend of touring and comfort. The hotel is truly superb. The rooms very large and the beds were super comfy. Breakfast was fresh and well presented in the tagged on Cafe´. We didnt realise that they did evenings meals too, so we had already booked eateries prior to arrival which was unfortunate as the Cafe was very cosy with a good range of food and drinks. Mind you, the places we did eat were great. Fiskehallen on day one..great food though very full and a bit noisy but great if you can eat outside. Mallemukken on day 2, which is an upturned fishing boat. Really lovely place and atmospheric. There is plenty to see in the area and in Thyborøn itself you can visit a war musuem and a memorial area on the battle of Jutland.. the largest sea battle of WW1. Get an ice cream at Fjams og Kugler..I wont translate ;). Dont expect to eat dinner straight after. We can highly recommend The Seaside Hotel for trips with family, friends or even romance...

Super Frühstück. Klein aber fein. Am besten haben uns die Eier geschmeckt. Freundliche Bedienung. Kostenlose Parkplätze. Herrliche ruhige Lage am Hafen. Gutes Restaurant in der Nähe.

Ein schöner Ausblick für eine Nacht

Das Apartment war sehr schön und groß für zwei Personen. Sogar mit voll ausgestatteter Küche. Der Blick auf den Hafen war auch recht schön. Wobei man nach rechts eher auf den tristen Industriehafen schaute.

Der Empfang war zwar recht freundlich, aber eher unpersönlich, weil wir eigentlich eine SMS oder Mail mit den Zugangsdaten bekommen sollten. Haben wir aber nicht bekommen, so dass uns die Dame an der Rezeption doch persönlich einweisen musste. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber für den Preis eher unzureichend.
