Villa Air Bali top management need to look into what had happened and ensure such instances never happens again.

We experienced a deeply disturbing incident during our stay at Villa Air Bali that has completely undermined our trust and sense of safety. On our very first night, while we were out for dinner, staff entered the villa for the nightly pillow and blanket turndown service. We returned late, exhausted, and went straight to bed. The next morning, I discovered that my travel pouch zipper had been opened. Inside that pouch, I kept a red envelope containing all of our travel cash. Two Australian $100 notes and three crisp US $1 notes were missing. I am absolutely certain the money was there before we left for dinner. I had specifically removed four Australian $50 notes from that same envelope after dinner for currency exchange. The envelope was intact and accounted for prior to that. I travel internationally every year and am meticulous about how I store and manage my cash. I did not misplace it. While I acknowledge that I did not place the pouch in the safe (my passport was secured inside), this does not excuse what appears to be unauthorised access and removal of cash during a routine service entry. When I reported the matter, the Guest Relations Manager contacted me but repeatedly implied that I may have misplaced the money. I firmly rejected this suggestion. As of the third day, there has been no follow-up, no investigation update, and no reassurance regarding internal review or staff accountability. To make matters worse, on Friday 13th February, the villa experienced a generator failure, resulting in a complete power outage. We were relocated for the night to The Dialoog Seminyak. The replacement accommodation was valued at approximately AUD $110 per night, compared to the AUD $262 per night we had paid for Villa Air Bali. This downgrade in quality and value was unacceptable — especially as it was our final night in Bali before flying back to Sydney on the 14th.

Total magic - the perfect place for a relaxing solo getaway!

The villa was an absolute dream! There was so much space - with the perfect mix of sun and shade. Private yet felt safe staying there alone. The energy of the place from the moment I walked in was just so peaceful and luxurious ad the service was wonderful. The in-villa breakfasts were amazing, the pool was sooooo nice and the massage I had was one of the best my whole stay! Highly recommend and would stay again!

The vegetarian menu was limited - but staff went above and beyond to cater to me.

I searched 4 days to find this amazing place so just book it.

Everything was amazing. The villa was spotless, cleaned daily and had everything we needed including being very quiet considering the location . . The staff went above and beyond, the free shuttle around Seminyak was very handy.

Besides the airport shuttle being more than double the cost of a taxi I can’t fault anything.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Air Bali Boutique Resort and Spa. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and felt private and peaceful. The staff were exceptional – warm, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. The pool and gardens were immaculate, and the gym was an added bonus. The location was also ideal, close to Seminyak yet tucked away enough to feel like a tranquil retreat. We truly loved our experience here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway in Bali.

Exceptional villa stay in the heart of Seminyak

Stunning venue with excellent villas and incredibly friendly staff who go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak to make this a perfect spot for couples on their honeymoon or seeking some peace and quiet in Bali. We were provided with an outgoing shuttle to anywhere in Seminyak, provided we sort our own return journey back to the villa.

A 3-Star Hotel That Has Been Falsely-advertised as a 5-Star Hotel

Both, the hotel & booking.com refused monetary compensation even though the star rating is being falsely advertised.

They are too stringent on check in timings . Despite best appeal they did not allow us for early ( couple of hrs ) check in and this was already informed. But they do all they can to help make the stay very comfortable and I respect that .

The property was immaculate, very clean and luxurious. The staff were absolutely incredible and they went out of their way to make our trip very special. Our villa was lovely and very clean. They also have a driver who can drop you anywhere in Seminyak.

My only issue was in the two bedroom villa we should have had a pool day bed as there was no where to sit once we got out of the beautiful pool.

INCREDIBLE STAY!

Honestly what an INCREDIBLE hotel! The hotel was amazing, it’s like you’re in a little retreat and the staff were one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met in my life. They were SUPER hospitable, were always there for you in seconds and everything was super accommodating. The hospitality is a 100000/10! The villa was beautiful and super big and comfortable and it was perfect for us. The location is out of this world, in the heart of Seminyak and minutes away from everything. I’m super impressed and would definitely come back again! What an experience. Thank you to the Villa Air team for making our honeymoon a beautiful one!

A very good quality service with attentive staff, a very quiet stay from the crowded sea stay.

The breakfast is great, we have options to have it in our villa or at their in house restaurant. they have buggy service to get you from your villa to the lobby which is very convenient. Not forgetting that there is a complimentary drop off service by their villa air car to any spots in seminyak area which is great! The staffs are very attentive too!

The property of the villa can upgrade a little as some furniture and finishings are quite old, understanding that it’s been operated for many years. However it can be improved for better experience. Furthermore, the mosquitoes are quite a lot at the villa, my boyfriend got bitten quite a bit so we requested more mosquitoes spray.

Bali bliss that we hope to repeat again soon!

We loved everything! The private Villa was fabulous, spacious, light and shade, beautiful tropical garden with frangipani blossom falling daily. Excellent friendly service and even able to use the spa area for a shower late in evening after check out. Transfers to and from the airport were seamless. highly recommend the eggs florentine for breakfast, whilst enjoying the serenity of the Villa. Very quiet in the Villa but an easy walk (if you are not perturbed by the lack of pavements) to many restaurants and bars.
