Everything about this resort was amazing. The staff were incredible and the room was next level.

The Villa was built beautifully. If you are looking for Privacy, Cleanliness, polite, respectful, knowledgeable and honest staff. Villa Air is highly recommended.

Everything. The food. The daily spa and the breakfast in bed.

We experienced a deeply disturbing incident during our stay at Villa Air Bali that has completely undermined our trust and sense of safety. On our very first night, while we were out for dinner, staff entered the villa for the nightly pillow and blanket turndown service. We returned late, exhausted, and went straight to bed. The next morning, I discovered that my travel pouch zipper had been opened. Inside that pouch, I kept a red envelope containing all of our travel cash. Two Australian $100 notes and three crisp US $1 notes were missing. I am absolutely certain the money was there before we left for dinner. I had specifically removed four Australian $50 notes from that same envelope after dinner for currency exchange. The envelope was intact and accounted for prior to that. I travel internationally every year and am meticulous about how I store and manage my cash. I did not misplace it. While I acknowledge that I did not place the pouch in the safe (my passport was secured inside), this does not excuse what appears to be unauthorised access and removal of cash during a routine service entry. When I reported the matter, the Guest Relations Manager contacted me but repeatedly implied that I may have misplaced the money. I firmly rejected this suggestion. As of the third day, there has been no follow-up, no investigation update, and no reassurance regarding internal review or staff accountability. To make matters worse, on Friday 13th February, the villa experienced a generator failure, resulting in a complete power outage. We were relocated for the night to The Dialoog Seminyak. The replacement accommodation was valued at approximately AUD $110 per night, compared to the AUD $262 per night we had paid for Villa Air Bali. This downgrade in quality and value was unacceptable — especially as it was our final night in Bali before flying back to Sydney on the 14th.
