Bhuvarin Resort

All staff are very nice and helpful. They have a car from the resort to take you to some places. Also you can ask the receptionist to rent a motorbike which is a good deal.

One the most beautiful spot and view of Koh Chang. The prime villa rooms are very nice, quiet area, clean and with view on the Bangbao bay. Nice swimming pool and restaurant with western and Thai dishes. The breakfast is very pleasant.

A bit far from everything else on the island

Prime villa was large and comfortable and view of the bay was fantastic. Room was cleaned every day and staff really friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Canoes available (and can manage to see sunrise/sunset if you paddle out far enough into the bay).

Main infinity pool looked impressive with fabulous view over the bay but was not at all private with the reception, bar and restaurant all in the same place and only a few sunbeds. No atmosphere in bar/restaurant area with same music playing on a loop. No sunrise or sunset views and majority of resort is in the shade from lunchtime onwards. Food and cocktails ok but not cheap. Shuttle bus to pier and beach runs at 3 times a day - 11am, 2pm, 5pm - so limited and can be tricky to get taxi back in evening if eating elsewhere (especially Klong Kloi beach) as hotel is remote. Decided to leave halfway through our 9-night booking and relocate closer to Klong Kloi beach.
