We had an excellent time at Sawadi Lodge. Kader, Mansour, Fatima, Houda, Aziza, Said and our guides Moha and Sharif were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we could want. A wonderful warm welcome, bikes to hire for cycling into town, wonderful meals.
We were so grateful to have a guided transfer over the mountains with Moha and Sharif from the airport. It was quite pricey compared to getting the bus to Ourzazate and a taxi say, so consider that. The buses in Morocco are fantastic.

This property is absolutely exceptional— so much love and care has been poured into this estate. We ended up sticking around almost all day and just relaxing— a welcome respite after lots of travel. The owner and staff were exceptional— breakfast was lovely, the rooms were fantastic, hot water with great pressure, and we even took advantage of the personal hamman. I would stay here for a full month and just sleep, read and write if I could.

This place is beyond special. What an unexpected find on our trip thru Morocco. Seeing oasis life while riding bikes through the winding alleys and roads, exploring the organic olive farm and seeing all the animals was a beautiful and relaxing way to enjoy Skoura. The hammam, the delicious dinners and the attentive staff (shout out to Nicholas and Mahmoud- with his magic tricks!) were highlights.
Wish I was there when it was warm so we could have enjoyed the beautiful pool and stayed a bit longer!
