The Kasbah is an authentic place to stay. The swimming pool is a great asset, with a beautiful view over the oasis and towards Kasbah Amidril. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was great that we could arrange to come one day earlier than planned. Very friendly and flexible.
The rooms are original and boast an authentic Kasbah atmosphere, but some details, especially in the bathroom (fittings), need attention. Compared to other Auberges/hostels/Kasbahs breakfast was not really appealing. The variety of food served was little. Juice was no real juice. We got better breakfast at the simplest hostel elsewhere. For instance, the next day, when there were some bigger tourist groups, everything seemed a bit unorganized. There were no cups, no coffee, etc.
