Villa Real Club Apartments

The staff were very accommodating to our needs - we were able to check in early and so our rooms were immediately available. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the general facilities were very well maintained. As a location, it is not as large as some of the more established areas but absolutely suited our needs for a quiet weekend.

We regularly have our flights home in the late afternoon or evening and the check out time was 10am. This is not specific to this property but having to vacate the rooms so early leaves us with a long wait. This is particularly an issue when we had gone to the island for a cycling trip and could not reasonably use our last day for cycling.

Good location and the upgrade to the hotel is very good. The restaurant food and service was very good

Very noisy at night. We had a good bedroom but it was at the front and loud noise from people and traffic up to 1 am . I had to ask a group of customers sitting in the bar terrace to be quiet at 1 am

Location, very friendly staff & very clean.

Breakfast was good but limited options.

Good access & storage for the bicycles. Room nice and clean

Grumpy greeting - reception was closed so we got key from bar man - we arrived on schedule and had been sent a message confirming that was fine. Room bizarrely bereft of furniture...not a big issue as we were only there one night but strange. No soap, shampoo etc. so had to got shopping on arrival. Room was presumably deigned for disabled access - this was thoughtful in some ways (easy access for bikes) but meant en-suite bathroom had no door - just a curtain - not great for a group of 3 friends - two male one female, the latter who had to enter the bedroom in the middle of the night and go to the loo behind the curtain. The outside space was like a mini prison exercise yard - just high white walls
