A very good standard.

Good location of the property - everything accessible by walking. The location is really great, not only for bathing in the clean lake, but also for 1-day treks in Karawanken and other places of interest (such as the "Monkey Mountain" near Villach).

Our extra bed was very uncomfortable - made from folding armchair with a split in the middle. For a week-long stay, the breakfast menu was somewhat repetitive. Given the summer heat, we would use a fridge in the room.

Reichhatiges Buffet, angenehmer Frühstücksraum. Schöne und ruhige Lage mit Blick auf den See. Große Zimmer mit eigenem Kühlschrank. Schöner und großer Balkon.

Die tägliche Zimmerreinigung könnte etwas intensiver sein, z.B öfter als 2x in der Woche kurz mit dem Staubsauger durchfahren. Generell was das Zimmerservice aber ok.

Abbiamo apprezzato la comodità del letto, la pulizia e il silenzio della stanza, la vista sulle montagne, la ricchezza della colazione a buffet, l'accesso gratuito al lago (assolutamente balneabile anche per italiani), la vicinanza della stazione del treno locale per Villach (gratis con la card per i clienti). Tutto questo ad un prezzo per noi ragionevole (in agosto). Consigliamo decisamente l'acquisto di una Kartnen Card per fruire delle varie esperienze proposte nei dintorni (funivie, crociere sui laghi maggiori, ecc.).

Come quasi sempre all'estero, abbiamo riscontrato la mancanza del bidet.

ein unglaubliches Erlebnis

Trotz des wechselhaften Wetters hatten wir ein paar fantastische Tage am Faaker See – nicht zuletzt dank unseres Aufenthalts in der Pension Rotar. Der Gastgeber war unglaublich freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und hatte einen schönen Balkon. Ein echtes Highlight waren die bequemen Betten – einfach wow! Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und lecker. Eine tolle Überraschung: Die Eintrittskarten für das Strandbad in Faak waren inklusive! Der See ist ganz in der Nähe und die Umgebung ruhig und sehr schön. Meine Freunde und ich waren begeistert – wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Sehr bequemes Bett In der Küche alles vorhanden Sehr ruhige Lage mit schöner Aussicht Toll das WC und Bad getrennt ist Schönes Badezimmer Tolle Dusche

Der See war nicht ganz in der Nähe Unbequemes Sofa Wohnzimmer mit seltsamer Eingerichtung, die Fenster viel zu weit oben In der Küche fehlte eine grosser Kochtopf z.B..um Spaghetti zu kochen Es fehlte eine Schere ✂️

Der Hotelbesitzer war schon beim einschicken sehr unfreundlich weil wir uns etwas verspätet hatten und schimpfte herum keine schöne Begrüßung!
