Very comfortable traditional stay.
Beautiful traditional property. Warm and friendly welcome. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was amazing. Served individually it was everything that one could expect from an Austrian breakfast. The view of the mountains from the balcony was wonderful.
A little out of Gosau to walk to restaurants but I was aware of that before booking. The balcony advertised was shared and sitting on the balcony put us in front of other guests windows As they were seemingly having an animated discussion it felt a bit awkward.

Great spot for Hallstatt, Dachstein, and Bad Ischl!
Quiet location, big room. Location turned out better than expected...we went to Hallstatt one day, then to the Dachstein mountain next day, along with Bad Ischl (a totally unplanned gem of a town). Lovely dinner options around the lake. Bed was comfy. Lovely host and a great breakfast.
Did not provide soap or shampoo in the shower... luckily I had brought my own. Be prepared...she takes only cash, no credit/debit cards.
