Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura

Spotlessly clean resort and staff couldn’t have been any more welcoming or helpful.

I couldn’t have faulted any part of our stay.

Villa was lovely. Well set out and good interlinked room for our 5 year old. Half board food from the buffet was enjoyable. Friendly reception and gate staff.

Had some building work going on in the villa behind which wasn’t too noisy but would have been nice to know about.

We liked the excellent breakfast and dinner, the heated pool (27°C), the jacuzzi, the friendly staff, and more generally the beautiful architecture of the resort.

The second bedroom was very simple, only reachable from the pool, no door to the toilet, not possible to entirely darken the room (window near toilet), no wifi (but we got from the reception a repeater that helped). We did not use the spa (one sauna and one steamroom) as we were told in the reception that it costs 45€ per person and per hour; later found out that it costs 30€, but still very expensive.

The location of the object was good, close to the supermarket store, the beach, and not far from the center.

The cleaning service was bad. The cleaning lady was supposed to come every 3-4 days, but she knocked once the 4-the day during the morning, we were at home at the moment, and she didn't come back at all. So- NO cleaning/fresh towels/etc. in 6 days. Very bad service for that kind of money. The breakfast was almost entirely bought in Lidl and it was recognizable (no offense to Lidl, we love it, but it should be better than that in a 4-star resort). The size of the bed and hot tub was too small (if you are a person of height 180cm and more). They don't charge water in the morning, but they do charge it in the evening 8 euros per bottle. Pool is not heated and outside is often windy and it is not very pleasant to swim if you are feeling cold.
