Lovely

Lovely location in a quiet village. You do need to travel to go to restaurants, but the nearby village of Vielsalm has several to choose from (about a 10min drive). The room we had, Valéry, was large with a seating area and small table and chairs. There was a kettle, microwave and fridge in the room (it would have been nice to know this in advance). The breakfast was expansive with a variety of meats, cheeses and pastries as well as cereals and yoghurts. We were even offered a glass of bubbly on our last morning which was a lovely treat.

Not much parking available so had to be a little creative at times.

the place was so clean and equipped with brand new material. Fascinating classic decoration followed by an excellent breakfast with delicious tastes of locally made cheese made a unique memory for me

very nice and worth repeating

The room was very nice and spacious. Coffee maker and stocked refrigerator were present. The breakfast was very nice and buffet very extensive with a very friendly service. The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful.

A very relaxing stay in our favourite region in Belgium

It's been a very relaxing stay. Good room, gorgeous bathroom with enough supplies. Didn't have a shower curtain, but the layout was spacious enough that it didn't cause inconvenience. Gorgeous view, good breakfast with a lot of choices and unlimited coffee throughout the day. We relaxed a lot in the garden. Big parking in the back. Friendly staff. The chef showed us around even though we arrived towards 10PM. Later we also met the hostess who was nice and friendly and took good care of us.

1. Squeaky floors. Whenever people in the room above ours would walk around, waking up in the morning or getting ready for sleep in the evening, we would be in for a squeaky stumping concert for an hour or so... 2. We couldn't find a menu in english online. We were picking the restaurant for dinner and wanted to see what options are there in ours, but only found the menu in french. For me it was not a problem, but i couldn't properly translate the dishes to my husband who doesn't speak french.

Fabulous place. Gorgeous location. So peaceful. Fantastic value for money. Wonderful breakfasts. Fantastic dinner Sunday night with only 6 couple there and a personal service from the chef!

Only French speaking, very difficult to communicate if you have no french vocabulary. Beds and towels not refreshed of room made daily. Cleanliness could be improved.

A quiet place to relax.

Lovely older-style hotel with friendly staff (though, to note, all conversations were in French) and an enjoyable fixed menu for the evening meal. It was quiet and peaceful, which was exactly what we were after.

Sublime et très romantique, je recommande à 100%

Tout, la dame qui gère l’établissement seule est un amour. Super agréable et souriante, très à l’écoute et bienveillante. Chambre et hôtel pleins de charme dans un village ultra calme. Très romantique. Petit déjeuner inclus merveilleux, très complet et pour tous les goûts, même les yaourts sont faits maisons et délicieux

Gran experiencia en Belgica

Increible lugar, super comodo, antiguo. El personal que atiende es muy amable, solo hablan frances pero se hacen entender con google traductor. Tuvimos que cambiar el check out a las 5 am y no hubo problema. Es mas, nos dejaron el desayuno preparado en la puerta asi no empezabamos el viaje con hambre. La verdad unos genios. Los desayunos, por dios que rico todo, tortas, panes, jugos, fiambres, mermeladas caceras, absolutamente todo disponible.

Naja...

Die Ankunft war unkompliziert. Parkplätze stehen ausreichend zur Verfügung. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß. Kühlschrank / Kaffeemaschine und ein Wasserkocher stand zur Verfügung

Die Austattung ist alt (passt zum Allgemeinbild). Die Dusche und Toilette ist nur durch eine Duschtür (durchsichtig) abgetrennt. Das Frühstück wurde erst eine Stunde später angerichtet. Auswahl zwar ausreichend, jedoch wenig Auge aufs Detail Bettwäsche wurde (vermutlich) auch nicht erneuert...

Een vorstelijke ervaring!

De hele accommodatie straalt klasse uit. De benedenverdieping is sfeervol ingericht. De kamer is met zorg samengesteld, wandbekleding, gordijnen en meubilair, het klopt allemaal. Badkamer past bij kamer, technische afwerking is een klein minpuntje.

Ik kan ze niet bedenken.

Mooie ligging, ruime kamers en voortreffelijk ontbijt.

Het personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamer was ruim, fijne bedden en er was een waterkoker en koffieapparaat maar geen theezakjes of koffiepads. Ontbijt is voortreffelijk!

Fijne hostellerie in mooie rustige omgeving

We werden vriendelijke ontvangen en naar onze ruime kamer op de 1e verdieping gebracht. De kamer is erg ruim en vintage. Badkamer ook ruim met badkuip en douche. Mooie zicht op de vallei. Het ontbijt was ook in orde, heel wat keuze in producten gaande van eitjes, worstjes over koffiekoeken, diverse broodjes en broodsoorten, homemade confituren, taartjes, 2 soorten fruit, potjes yoghurt en wat ingrediënten voor een muesli. Lekkere koffie. De rust die de omgeving uitstraalt, is zeer deugddoend. Mooie wandelingen zijn mogelijk in de onmiddellijke omgeving.

Minpuntjes: er waren te weinig badproducten (2 mini tubetjes die voor 2 personen en voor 2 nachten moesten dienen) en ook te weinig handdoeken. De verlichting in de kamer had ook beter gekund, slechts 1 plafondlicht, de andere sierlampjes hadden geen binnen lamp en werkten dus niet. Het interieur is ietwat gedateerd, maar dat stoorde ons niet. Er is ook geen TV meer aanwezig, voor ons ook geen probleem.
