Lovely B&B in the heart of the Ardennes.

We loved our stay here. We were welcomed with friendly faces into a beautiful home and our "Queen Mary" room was a great size (with a loft), with a lovely view of the garden. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with baked goods, eggs, fruit, and an embracing ambiance. There was parking on the property and in front on the street. The centre is walking distance, either along the main road, or the scenic route along the lake. We went to the Center Parcs pool to swim, and it's only a few minutes walk (though very pricey!). For those with an electric car, there were chargers close by, in the parking lot of the Spar (maybe 100m away), and a quick charger a bit further down the street in a public parking lot. The only thing I would suggest, is that since the room was on the top floor, and there was no air conditioning (or at least I didn't see it), is to perhaps have a fan in the room just to circulate the air a bit. I wouldn't go so far as to call this something I didn't like, but if you can't handle heat well, this would be a nice solution. Overall, I would definitely go back. Thanks for a lovely stay!! Nice, quiet, pleasant, tasty, comfortable and family-friendly.

Very tasty local breakfast. Several egg options to choose from. Local cheeses of various kinds and jams. Breakfast served in a family style.

The only downside is that in our room the bathroom was only separated from the rest of the room by a curtain. I would also recommend putting a small fridge in the room for guests.

Great B&B with wonderful hosts!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Les Tilleuls. The room was great and the house gave a cosy feeling. Many thanks to the wonderful hosts that made us feel very welcome and that prepared a lovely breakfast. We really recommend this place!

a perfect getaway!

We loved the authentic b&b, which has been beautifully renovated. Breakfast was perfect in the the common living space. In the afternoon or evening you can also have a drink by the fireplace. The host & hostess were so welcoming and to kind, especially for our two children. The family room was perfect!

The choice for people that expect quality and comfort.

Breakfast exceptional, served with hospitality and big hearts. Rooms were spacious, clean and gorgeous. Location of hotel perfect and area very quiet at night. Martine and Pierre-Louis showed hospitality and care 24-7, like living with relatives.

In the largest room the shower was in a bath tub - had no handles on the walls for safety. Bath/toilet could have been separate (need a door). Squeaky main staircase could potentially disturb guests at night.

Character and style accommodation, very good renovation with keeping the sole of the house in place.

The whole room is in one, the old bath, with all comfort is an eye catcher but I would offer a mobile screen or a fixed one to have some privacy. Specifically as the room can hoste 4 persons.

Everything about our stay was perfect! Martine and Pierre Louis are very nice hosts making sure you have everything you need. The room was extremely clean, the breakfast full of delicious local products and very relaxed atmosphere. Warmly recommended!

Het ontbijt was prima, ruim voldoende, scrambled eggs heel goed klaar gemaakt, helemaal goed dus. Bed was voor mij aan de korte kant, maar da's niet ongebruikelijk, ik ben wat langer dan gemiddeld.

Dat het niet mogelijk is om met de bankpas te betalen.

Heerlijk

Vriendelijkheid eigenaars die zelf ook de nodige voorstellen doen voor restaurantbezoek s'avonds. Er waren ook heel de dag koffie- of theefaciliteiten aanwezig, evenals handige wandelkaarten ter inzage. Ontbijt was ook prima met keuze uit verschillende eibereidingen.

Niets, maar misschien wel een tip. Bij tonen kamer, misschien ook kleerkast tonen. Deze was wat verborgen in een paneel dat wij niet direct zagen. We vonden het wat vreemd dat er enkel wat haakjes voor de jassen in de kamer aanwezig waren en hebben dan onze kleren wat overal gelegd. De tweede dag ben ik dan de kamer wat grondiger gaan bekijken en vonden we een ruime en handige kleerkast die via een drukmechanisme moest geopend worden en waarin ook extra kussens zaten die van pas kwamen.

Prachtig huis, mooie kamer, gastvrij en voortreffelijk vers ontbijt

Het huis is prachtig en gezellig. Voortreffelijk ontbijt dat heel uitgebreid is en met verse lokale producten. De uitbaters zijn zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Je kan je wagen veilig parkeren op hun oprit. De kamer is mooi en ruim. Ruime regendouche.

Lavabo is wat aan de kleine kant. Toilet zichtbaar van uit het bed (wel gordijn voorzien om badkamer af te sluiten). Gordijnen laten licht door (niet veel last gehad van het ochtendlicht dat binnen komt omdat het winter was)

Ontbijt was goed verzorgd en eigenaren waren zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij

Het bed was heel hard waardoor ik midden in de nacht wakker werd van rugpijn en hierdoor niet meer kon slapen Badkamer was goed echter wat jammer was dat je moest douchen in het bad en dat is niet meer van deze tijd en tevens gevaarlijk met het oog op uitglijden

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, die Lage ist Top und die Gastgeber sehr sehr nett. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichlich und regional. Man sollte aber unbedingt wissen, dass zwei Hunde da leben. Die sind auch toll, aber wenn jemand Hundeangst hat ist es vielleicht schwierig.

Idealer Startpunkt für Wanderungen und Radtouren in den Hohen Ardennen

Wunderschönes, großes Haus mit Terrasse und Garten, großzügige Gemeinschaftseinrichtungen. Die Zimmer alle unterschiedlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und dekoriert. Sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Gastgeber, Frühstück am Gemeinschaftstisch in nettem Ambiente und üppig.

Leider liegt das Haus an einer tagsüber recht befahrenen Straße. Nachts allerdings ist es angenehm ruhig.
