B&B Lloc D'Or

The accommodation was superb and cool despite hot weather. We had the top level apartment with a great view from the adjoining private terrace. Gemma was the perfect host with excellent recommendations for day trips etc. Breakfast was lovely with yoghurt, fresh fruit, fresh delicious pastries every day and eggs cooked to perfection. Was also very useful to have our own fridge in the room and tea making facilities.

Very friendly and helpful hosts who gave us great advice on the surroundings (snorkeling!). A very spacious apartment with beautiful bay- & sea-view. Great location with a short walk to the city.

The curtains for the windows were not very effective so you needed your own eye-blinders to make it dark enough.

This bed-and-breakfast was perfect for us. Our bedroom and bathroom were roomy and very comfortable, with our own small balcony and direct access to the shared terrace. The breakfast was absolutely delicious — bread rolls, local pastries, fresh fruit, and plenty of coffee —and the host and hostess were charming and very helpful. They made us feel at home. We shared the breakfast room with one other couple, which was pleasant. The location was outstanding: two blocks from the sea and a 15-minute seaside walk to the historic center of Alghero. Also, we never had any trouble finding free parking within at most two blocks' distance.

We considered the climb to be good exercise, but be aware that the guestroom is in a third-floor apartment with no elevator.

Nice clean very good location fantastic hosts they went the extra mile with the service. Super nice breakfast and coffee. Very clean and comfortable.
