It was a lovely location, convenient for the town centre, and also the buses to the airport and the station. The room was very clean and comfortable. The building is very old, and my room had a wonderful ceiling with a stucco cherub and some flowers. It was a last minute booking, as I was stranded in Catania when Etna erupted and close the airport, and they were very flexible about letting me book an additional day at short notice. The only downside was the two flights of stone steps to get to the property, but given that the host carried my suitcase up for me, and down again at the end of the visit, I didn’t really mind.
The stone steps, but see note above - there was help with my suitcase, so no real bother.

The property was in a very nice location and only 2 minutes away from the city centre. Amazing hosts and a very clean B&B

The location was perfect
The shower was quite dirty, small and leaking. The toilet was smelly in the morning. The apartment is on a busy street so you cannot leave a door or window open.
