Beautiful old castle and grounds in a lovely area of Abruzzo. We loved the pool. The staff was wonderful. We had an informative and delicious wine tasting and recommend it. Breakfast was excellent. Bed was super comfortable.

Very beautiful castle, amazing views. Territory, swimming pool, many places to sit and relax.
Breakfast is very good. Staff is friendly and attentive.
Rooms are spacious and clean.
We were disappointed by the dinner. It was degustation menu and we expected small portions. We had 3 course meal, where all 3 plates were tasty, but very boring and simple. First - only 3 slices of ham. Nothing to make it look vibrant. Main - piece of meat and few green beans. Boring. What was also frustrating, there was olive oil bottle on the table, but no bread was offered at all.
That didn’t feel like any value for money!

The Castello is in a small very quiet village. All the staff were friendly. Swimming pool and surrounding facilities were excellent. We ate both nights in the restaurant which was exceptional on both occasions. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Air con was very welcome. Room and en suite were comfortable and pleasant (we booked the outside room).
Would have liked a kettle in the bedroom that's all. Oh and the shower runs hot and cold not keeping an even temperature.
