Wonderful staff! Ready to help in any situation. Valet parking is very convenient; they give you your car in 3-5 minutes. You don't have to wait long. The rooms are spacious, clean, modernly renovated, and the views from the window are stunning. The hotel has large, well-maintained grounds and private access to the beach. There is a heated pool. The water is really warm at this time of year. There's a great restaurant on the hotel grounds. They have breakfast in the morning (they really have everything), and you can have dinner in the evening (the presentation of the food, the waiters, the wine—everything is top notch). The spa deserves special attention. Amazing massages, water treatments, tea rooms – complete relaxation, both physical and spiritual.

The design of the hotel was something really special, especially pool area and Lucia beach club.

Amazing pool area with excellent summer beach club Lucia, breakfast was delicious, beautifully served. Kids club was fun too for my kid. Will be back for sure.

Breakfast was magnificent. The cocktail bar had a fabulous atmosphere. The Spa was excellent.

Fabulous hotel, exceptional service, lovely food and surroundings

Breakfast was amazing. The quality hairdryer was a lovely bonus surprise. Staff engagement and service levels exceptional. Longer breakfast time appreciated. Staff didn’t rush us if we ran somewhat over. Loved the evening chocolate piece. Great gym.

If possible, vary the breakfast options a little each day. Include more vegetarian/vegan options e.g. tofu both at breakfast and dinner. Spa felt a little like an afterthought in comparison to the rest of the hotel.

Good

The staff were outstanding. All so helpful kind and polite. They couldn't have been better. I'd like to mention in particular Luz who served us at breakfast. Cheerful prompt and very helpful. The beds are so comfy and the bathroom and toiletries are good quality. Beautiful gardens and excellent tennis club. Lovely view from the Naranjos restaurant at breakfast.

The beach clubs of which there are two were hideous. I am so surprised Don Carlos affiliates itself with these. They look cheap and garish with astroturf so ghastly. Bright colours and totally fake like a children's playground. The Nikki beach club is relentlessly loud music. There is a small beach which is not a good standard. The beach area is like the cheapest vibe in the resort and has the air of the classic Benidorm vibe and is at total odds with the Don Carlos.

Good hotel, exceptional staff, amazing Kids Club

The kids club and above all it Team. They were fantastic, as well as the space. Likes the Lucia beach club and its swimming pool, more diverse and easy access than the hotel pool. The staff, all throughout the hotel, was extremely friendly and attentive. Good Breakfast buffet with plenty of options.

The menu for the swimming pool could be lighter with fresher options as different saladas, mini savouries etc. Didn’t find the food at the Naranjos restaurant very good.

Stunning Property, the design of every part of the hotel and the property are beautiful it was a pleasure to sit in any area of the hotel whether its the lobby with beautiful wallpaper covered with flowers and birds or the restaurant where every detail is thought through !

In terms of the staff , they made the entire trip even better , my little siblings thoroughly enjoyed the kindness of the staff , they even remembered to call after we’ve check out to ask us how we liked our stay with them. Never experienced this kind of hospitality elsewhere. All I say is muchas gracias.

The staff were exceptional and the hotel facilities within the common areas were very good. A good selection of restaurants and parking facilities on site.

I booked a superior double bedroom and felt that it left a lot to be desired. The room is generally dated, the bathroom was uncomfortable with a very small bath and restricted shower space. We also had an extractor close by to our window, which was noisy. It was almost like sleeping close to a train station. This made an otherwise exceptional hotel experience below our expectations.

Beautiful Resort with a lot of activities, close to the beach and the heated pool

When you pay 5 star rates for a room you don't expect to be charged 40 euro pr, person for access to the spa.. Ordering snack in the bar was just amusing, 1 hour did it take to serve a club sandwich.. 2 premium burges was raw and needed to be send back.. Mention your ordre loud and clear 2-3 times else you get something else
