Incredible location and very nice staff. Bed was comfortable and very friendly staff

We only had a fan as AC which wasn't really enough with how hot it was getting inside the room. Floors are also a bit creaky so going to the bathroom in the night is hard

Incredible location. 50m to the Duomo. View out the window was spectacular. Private bathroom across the hall - basic but had everything needed. Very cool towels.. shower was compact but great water pressure. Ceiling is in thecprocess of being restored and the incredible artwork visible underneath. There is a lift - it is small and awkwardly positioned on the stairs but it saved us carrying bags up and down. Definitely only suited to 1 person at a time. Very quirky.

Nothing really. It is budget accommodation afterall - and with that in mind we were very happy with our stay.

Excellent location. Very convenient to visit all places. Our room is very old, but spacious and clean. It has an attached washroom and air conditioner which was very helpful during the hot days. Reception is open from 8:00 am until 13:00 pm and from 16:00 pm until 19:00 pm in the afternoon which is slightly different from what booking.com posted. Staff were friendly. We needed to enter one set of the code to enter the building, another set to enter the hotel. So it is pretty safe in general. The tiny lift was helpful. After a long walk every day, we did not really want to walk the stairs anymore except my daughter. :-) We could leave our luggages in the common area after checking out. Because the office is at a different room, could not look at the common area plus there are no staff in the middle of the day, we were worried about the safety of the luggages since technically any ones who stayed could take them. But it seems to work out.

The noise from outside and from walking on the old floor was more than what I thought. I was aware of that, so it is not a surprise. But if you are light sleeper, I would not recommend it.

Almost no facilities were provided for the guests. the WiFi also didnt have a good signal range si we had no access in the rooms and was accessible only in corridors. We expected a better towel and shampoo and a bit larger bathroom, it was so small, all the spaces includin floor and walls need a bit of renovation to feel good and clean.
