Ostria

Absolutely amazing family run hotel, spotless clean, very very well maintained with spacious manicured garden, very relaxing, beautiful and quiet area. There are nice restaurants right around the corner, though Ostria has their very well own restaurant as well, where they also serve excellent breakfast. There is lovely sandy beach just about 150m. The staff was the best - friendly, helpful, pleasant- they let us use the shower and changing room at our last day of our stay (after we checkout), arranged taxis for us, car rental… There was also Mamma Mia night and Greek music/dancing night organized at Ostria as well and both were fantastic. We will be back next year for sure! Thanks so much!

Best possible location 3 minutes walk to a lovely beach and surrounded by plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Skiathos Town is a 17 minute drive but the bus stop is a minute away and plenty of busses to transport you there if you don't hire a car. Would definitely use them again. Sofia was a great host and having a swimming pool to dip into after the beach was heavenly.

WiFi was a bit iffy.

The room was a good size and clean. Bedding was good but the towels a little rough and too small (and I’m a size12). The aircon was brilliant and the pool and location was great.

We like to eat our breakfast on our terrace or take it with us to the beach and did so on the first day, after which we were challenged in a loud, abrupt and rude manner stating we should only eat in the breakfast room (we are adults on our holiday and rules should be thoroughly explained) not just re-iterated on checking out. We declined to eat breakfast on day 3 preferring to enjoy a local taverna (without rules of course). Very upsetting!☹️
