Kassandra Bay Resort, Suites & Spa

A lovely hotel in a good location. Pools are great and clean.

We stayed at Kassandra Bay Resort at the end of July for a 6-night stay. We chose a Deluxe Superior Room. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but the value for money did not meet our expectations for a 5-star hotel, especially considering the rather high price. Pros: • The hotel’s private beach and the attentive beach service. • Beautiful view from the room (though this depends on the room category and rate). • Friendly and helpful staff, always willing to assist when needed. • Excellent location — very close to both the town and several popular organized beaches. Cons: • Breakfast lacked variety and was quite repetitive throughout our stay. • Housekeeping could be improved: we ran out of shower gel, and although we requested a refill, we were given three small bottles — two were shampoo and only one was actually shower gel. • There were noticeable differences in the food and drink options depending on the room type, which is not in line with the standards of a 5-star hotel, where all guests should benefit from a consistent level of service. • The room lacked basic 5-star amenities: no coffee machine or espresso maker, no complimentary bottled water, no proper minibar. In the bathroom, aside from shampoo and shower gel, there were no other toiletries you’d typically expect at this level. • Check-out was at 11:00 AM sharp, with no option to extend. If your flight was later in the day and you wished to spend time at the beach, there were no shower facilities available to freshen up afterward. In conclusion, a beautiful location with clear strengths, but one that would benefit from several improvements in order to truly meet 5-star standards.
