    We checked out today. The property is a little dated, but the spectacular view more than makes up for it. The staff were generally wonderful especially when we checked in. Very friendly staff.. However, my interaction with the receptionist, Brooke, could have been more welcoming. A warmer and more approachable demeanour would have made the experience even better. I understand that everyone has their off days, but a friendly and neutral facial expression can make a big difference in how guests feel when they interact with reception. Overall, we had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    The hotel is locatated on a mountain side, with great view of the lake. Breakfast was above average, we had fried rice and few hot dishes. The selection was great while having breakfast with a view. The room was ok, or should i saw almost dated. Few old stains on carpet and for the price, you will be expecting a little more. But team was very warm. Checked in very late like after midnight and asked if possible to have late check out. They gave us until 12noon next day which was good. Although parking fee is not included, i think common in Queenstown, so you still have to settle that upon check out.

    Extremely disappointing and not family-friendly Our stay at Mercure Queenstown Resort was very disappointing. We were traveling with our 1-year-old, and the hotel refused to provide a microwave to heat our baby’s food. Instead, staff suggested we use a kettle, which is completely unsafe and unacceptable for infant meals. We spoke to the manager, expecting at least a basic solution or some understanding, but no help was offered at all. The attitude was dismissive and showed a complete lack of care for guests with babies. For a hotel that markets itself as family-friendly, this level of poor service and lack of basic amenities is shocking. I strongly do not recommend this property to families with infants.
