My one night stay at Arcos de la Villa was wonderful. The room was fresh and immaculately clean with beautiful linen on the bed. Very quiet with amazing views of the lake and easy access to Zahara de la Sierra - just a few minutes walk to the centre of town. Also easy, free parking. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

we really loved our stay in a very peacful, quiet village. hotel is built in the mountain with windows overlooking reservoir lake. woke up to the bird songs very well rested - beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious. although hotel claims only 2 stars, room and location exceeds many 4-star hotels i've stayed. very good value for the money!

This hotel is located in a premier spot on top of the hill with wonderful views. The roon and beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the 20 or so rooms occupy the floors under the restaurant and bar. Floor -1, wuth rooms 1 through 10 and where we stayed, is directly under floor 0 and the restaurant. You will be awakened no later than 7:30 am on that floor to the sounds of wooden chairs being dragged and banged around the restaurant floor. Floor -2 and it's rooms are hopefully quieter. The noise could easily be abated if staff would put felt glides on the legs of the chairs. Why that has not been done is a mystery. I'd stay again and recommend this hotel if it weren't for the noise issues.
