Superbe emplacement avec une vue exceptionnelle sur les environs… Très beau bâtiment de caractère, chambres très vastes et confortables, et le restaurant sur place propose une très bonne carte. Également une trattoria à quelques minutes qui propose entre autres du gibier, très sympa !

Un peu compliqué de trouver quelqu’un pour aider le soir de fermeture du restaurant.

The accommodation is in a really wonderful location, in a beautiful hilly countryside, far away from any noise. There are fantastic views in every direction, and the whole place is very quiet and peaceful. It has that special atmosphere of the Italian countryside that we know from films – green hills, beautiful views, old houses and a very relaxed feeling. The rooms were actually much more than just rooms. Our apartment had a bedroom, a bathroom, a living room and another common room, so we had plenty of space and felt very comfortable. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. This kind of hospitality cannot really be learned – it comes from the heart. We always felt that they were really happy to have us there and wanted us to feel at home. Davide, if you read this, again grazie per tutto. E salutaci anche gli altri tuoi colleghi! The breakfast was simply phenomenal. The two lovely ladies who prepared and served the breakfast every morning were incredibly kind. There were also homemade cakes, prepared by one or maybe both of them, and they were excellent. The choice was really large. Everything was fresh and delicious. We really looked forward to breakfast every morning. And then there is the trattoria. The food in the evening was absolutely amazing. Our advice is simple: stay long enough to eat your way through the menu! We would like to recommend one or two dishes, but actually everything we tried was equally delicious. For example, several of us ordered the *Arrosto di Coppa di Maiale con Balsamico del Cavazzone e bacche di Ginepro* on more than one evening – which probably says enough. They also showed us their own balsamic vinegar production and explained with great care how the vinegar is made and aged. At the end, we had a tasting and could try balsamic vinegars of different ages and understand the differences between them. They also helped us to visit a local local Parmigiano Reggiano producer!

We had a wonderful stay at Agriturismo Cavazzone! The breakfasts and dinners were consistently amazing, authentic, fresh, and delicious. Every staff member was exceptionally kind, helpful, and greeted us with a warm smile throughout our stay. We chose the suite, which was huge for the two of us and had fantastic air conditioning, a absolute lifesaver given the hot weather outside. Highly recommended, Thank you for making our trip so special.

The only minor thing for me would be softer/better pillows, though that might just be personal taste. We would love to come back!
