A shorter walk, closer to 5 minutes, takes you to the cafés and pastel-fronted squares of Piazza Calcagnini and Piazza della Repubblica, along with a good choice of restaurants and a supermarket for self-catering.
Formigine is within easy reach of Italy\'s Motor Valley. The Maranello Ferrari Museum is a 10-minute drive, with test drives available nearby, while the Enzo Ferrari Museum and Modena\'s UNESCO-listed historic centre, home to its Cathedral, Piazza Grande and Torre Civica, are both a 20-minute drive.
