Albergue o Xistral

The facilities are impressive. Beautiful place, spacious and quiet, just what you need after walking 30 km. I loved it!

As it is not located in a town, you cannot have access to a supermarket! You should bring your own food or have dinner at the albergue, cooked by the person in charge. Breakfast was included, however there was no fresh fruit, or yogurt or hard boiled eggs on offer like in other albergues or hostales. Lots of pastries and cereal, coffee/ tea and that was it. Some protein would be appreciated! Someone also commented that the owner is a bit too strict, but I personally liked that! I was looking for a quiet place and I found it!

The host was absolutely wonderful. Spent time showing me around the albergue and serve a wonderful meal.

There was nothing wrong with the property. It was well maintained and neat.

Everything was excellent. Beautiful garden, pool, hammocks, dining area. Dinner and breakfast both great. And the host was great too!

The pool was great after a long walk and the owner has done a wonderful renovation on the property - he works very hard to ensure everyone is comfortable and sharing rooms with appropriate people

Loved all of it it’s a little bit out of the way but suited us the the distance we were doing
